SUNDAY BRUNCH CABARET IN TORONTO: A MONTH OF SUNDAYS - JOHN ALCORN
Award-winning vocalist John Alcorn will perform at the Sunday Brunch shows at THE JAZZ BISTRO (251 Victoria Street, Toronto, ONT, CA - 416-363-5299) for the month of September. Music starts at 12:30 pm. Alcorn will be accompanied by Dave Restivo on piano. Alcorn has been a musical mainstay on the Toronto scene since the mid-1990s, working in a wide spectrum of musical formats that run the range from small group settings to larger string and big band ensembles. Known for his heartfelt approach to lyrics and a sublime sense of swing, Alcorn has delivered his classy distinctive renditions of jazz standards and Great American Songbook classics from hundreds of the most prestigious bandstands and concert stages across Canada. There is a $15 cover.
