CABARET TONIGHT IN NYC: THE WHITFIELD FAMILY BAND AT DIZZY'S
The Whitfield Family Band (Mark Whitfield Sr., guitar; Mark Whitfield Jr., drums; Davis Whitfield, piano; James Genus, bass) will perform atDIZZY'S CLUB AT JAZZ AT LINCOLN CENTER (33 West 60th Street, NYC - 212-258-9595 - ) on Monday, October 7th with shows at 7:30 & 9:30 pm. A shining example of "generations in jazz," the Whitfield Family Band features star guitarist Mark Whitfield Sr. and his two sons, with James Genus on bass. The whole family consists of award-winning, in-demand musicians from Berklee College of Music. Their set will likely consist of originals from each member, in addition to material from Whitfield Sr.'s Stevie Wonder tribute, Songs of Wonder. There is a $30 cover.
