NYC: DON'T RUN, RUSH! AT THE BRICK THEATRE
The bold and hot-blooded Mona Ray conjures up both therapeutic as well as hysterical and infectious laughter in Don't run, Rush! at THE BRICK THEATRE (579 Metropolitan Avenue, Brooklyn, NY - 718- 907-6189) on Saturday, September 15th at 7:00 pm; Sunday, September 16th at 5:30 pm; and Thursday, September 20th at 8:30 pm. The absurdly fascinating humor straight from Finland, known for its wintery darkness and summery light, where people neither talk, kiss nor laugh out loud. "Don't run - Rush" features four different pictures of reality in its most absurd forms. A one-woman show where the viewer is never safe. The feeling of danger brings that extra spice to this comedy act where the recipient gives and all is taken. The show is created, written and performed by Mona Ray, directed by Lilli Sukula-Lindblom with music by Sami Sippola. Tickets are $15.
