NYC: ICONS: A TRIBUTE BY ROBIN KRADLES

New York female impersonator Robin Kradles, makes her solo cabaret debut with her show ICONS, a tribute to the women who have influenced her glamorous style at THE DUPLEX CABARETTHEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Thursday, October 3rd at 7:00 pm and Saturday, October 12th at 7:00 pm. She will perform songs by or about Marlene Dietrich, Marilyn Monroe, Shirley Bassey, Ann-Margaret, Madonna, Pink and more populate this entertaining show. Directed by Lennie Watts with Musical Direction by Rick Jensen. Special guest performer at each show. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: JEZA BELLE AT THE DUPLEX

Medusa Entertainment presents a night of dazzling entertainment, hosted by drag comedian Jeza Belle at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438 - ) on Saturday, October 12th at 9:30 pm. The show features special guest performances by Margoh Channing, Adam Sank, Nikky Sky Blake, Yamaneika Saunders and more. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: DAVID BALLARD IN HAVING IT ALL

David Ballard makes his cabaret debut on Tuesday, September 24th at 7:00 pm at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) with his show 'Having It All'. Musical director is Garrit Guadan. The show is directed by Tanya Moberly. Additional shows are scheduled for Wednesday, September 25th at 9:30 pm; Friday, October 11th at 7:00 pm; and Saturday, October 12th at 5:00 pm. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: KIM COLES: OH BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!

After a sold out run in February, Kim Coles, the hilarious star of hit TV shows Living Single, Frasier and In Living Color, will return to THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) with her acclaimed one-woman show OH BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!. Written and performed by Kim Coles and directed by Scotch Ellis Loring, this limited engagement will be presented for five performances only, on Friday & Saturday, October 4th & 5th at 7:30 pm; and Friday through Sunday, October 11th, 12th & 13th at 7:30 pm. OH BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! chronicles the ebb and flow of Kim Coles' showbiz rise with Hollywood-insider stories, multi-media features and even an interpretive dance number! After Fox's groundbreaking hit comedy Living Single got cancelled, Kim realized that nothing compares to the free food, personalized parking space, and sweet perks of showbiz success. As pilot seasons came and went and residual checks all got spent, she had to breakdown in order to break through and find true meaning beyond the glitz and glam of the red carpet. NYC: TONY DESARE UPDATES THE G.A.S. AT 54 BELOW

Singer/pianist Tony DeSare will perform at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Friday & SaturdaySaturday, October 2nd & 3rd at 7:00 pm and 10th & 11th at 8:00 pm. Tony's brand new show celebrates the genius of writers who have expanded the Great American Songbook in recent times like Ray Charles, Billy Joel, Bob Dylan, Carole King and Michael MacDonald, as well as 'adopted' American songwriters like Paul McCartney, Elton John and Barry Gibb. Everyone knows the brilliance of the Great American Songbook - which has been performed for many years, and in many different ways. But that songbook has expanded beyond 1955 - and now is the time to celebrate other writers who have created iconic music in the past half century. As always, Tony will have some exciting new material of his own, and a few wonderful surprises to share with the audience. There is a $30-$45 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

Musical theater writer Joe Iconis is about to journey to the West Coast for the world premiere of his musical The Black Suits in sunny Los Angeles. But first, he's proudly bringing his unique mash-up of showtune cabaret and rock and roll jamboree back to 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Saturday, October 12th at 11:00 pm, just in time for Halloween! Join Mr. Iconis and his merry band of musical theater friends as they roar their way through a set of Joe's incendiary songs, along with a few seasonally-appropriate spooky classics. The huge cast of brilliant actor/singers, lunatic musicians and legendary special guests will offer you an evening where searing character studies meet drunken back room sing-alongs. This is no mere concert. This is a great, big, howling love-letter to passionate musical theater at its best and bloodiest. Grease up your kazoo, fill your whiskey glass and stay for a while.
