Robyn's show is a multi-media presentation featuring songs, stories and seven continents! celebrating her latest CD, Sleep With Angels and more. She will be joined on stage by NYC's musical talents: Peter Calo (guitar), Ritt Henn (bass) and Chris Marshak (drums)!

The musical road from Riverside, California to San Diego rambles through Nevada, Oklahoma and almost every state in between, where Carol Curtis traveled as a musician. With a degree in music education from Oklahoma State University, she inspired young minds for several years, only to return to her true calling: cabaret-style singing. Playing the audience as skillfully as she plays piano and guitar, Carol weaves an eclectic mix of torch songs, Broadway and standards into an evening of fun repartee. No cover charge.

LOS ANGELES: BILLY COBHAM'S SPECTRUM 40 AT CATALINA JAZZ CLUB

Billy Cobham;s SPECTRUM 40 moves into CATALINA JAZZ CLUB (6725 West Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood, CA - 323-466-2210) on Friday through Sunday, April 24th through 26th at 8:30 pm. Ever since his breakthrough in the early 1970s - as a founding member of the Mahavishnu Orchestra, and as a drummer/ leader whose recordings (such as Spectrum) and powerful, complex style of play exerted a strong influence on the course of jazz and jazz-fusion, Billy Cobham has remained a tireless musical explorer. Panamanian by birth, a New Yorker by upbringing, and a resident of Switzerland for more than 25 years, Cobham has pursued an ever-broadening, ever-deepening engagement with the world not only as a master drummer and percussionist but as a composer, producer, educator, and clinician who gives service through music even as he constantly expands his personal creative expression. There is a $30 cover.

SAN FRANCISCO: LENA HALL AT FEINSTEIN'S

Tony Award winner and Grammy nominee, Lena Hall (Hedwig and the Angry Inch; Kinky Boots) makes her debut at FEINSTEIN'S AT THE NIKKO(222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 866-663-1063) on Friday, April 24th at 8:00 pm and Saturday, April 25th at 7:00 pm, with her one-woman show, Sin and Salvation, featuring an eclectic mix of soulful rock, pop and blues. Lena Hall is currently starring as Yitzhak in the hit Broadway revival of Hedwig and the Angry Inch for which she won the 2014 Tony Award for Featured Actress in a Musical. Prior to Hedwig, she starred as Nicola in the Tony Award winning musical Kinky Boots. Previous Broadway and Off Broadway roles include starring in the award winning Toxic Avenger at New World Stages, Tarzan (Original Cast), Dracula (Original Cast), 42nd St (Anytime Annie), Cats (Demeter), Beg Bugs (NYMF) and Green Eyes ( Fringe). TV and Film roles include "Young Miranda" in the Sex and the City film, "The Stepford Wives," "The Graduates," "All My Children" and "Legally Blonde, the Search for the Next Elle Woods." Born and raised in San Francisco, Lena Hall traveled the world performing and received her first big break singing for Pope John Paul II at Candlestick Stadium for over 50,000 people at the young age of 7. Hall was a member of the Young People's Teen Musical Theatre Company in San Francisco and at the age of 17, joined the national tour of Cats. NYC: STEVEN BRINBERG - SIMPLY BARBARA

Steven Brinberg, the premier Barbra Streisand impressionist, will bring the latest version of his acclaimed one-man show, Simply Barbra, to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Saturday, April 25th at 8:00 pm. Musical director is Christopher Denney. Brinberg will literally transform on-stage into Barbra Streisand – both physically and vocally – in an extraordinary musical experience not to be missed! The show will also feature Jared Zirilli (Wicked, Rock of Ages) as special guest star. Brinberg has been praised for his live vocal performance of Barbra Streisand for over a decade around the world. In addition to touring all over America he has also played extensively in England, Ireland, Scotland, Australia, Thailand, Spain, Mexico and Canada - more cities than the real Barbra! He appeared regularly in symphony concerts with the late Marvin Hamlisch, Oscar-winning composer of "The Way We Were." Steven was hired by Streisand's management to perform at her friend Donna Karan's birthday party. Maria Elena Infantino presents her one woman show "From Piaf to Mambo", impersonating legendary french singer Edith Piaf, in occasion of the artist's upcoming 100th anniversary at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, April 25th at 1:00 pm. She will be inging hits in French and English that made Piaf famous around the world in the 50's! Famous repertoire includes "La vie En Rose" "No regrets ""Milord" and more recognizable tunes. In between songs there are also some spoken extracts, taken from what Edith Piaf said in her own show at the Carnegie Hall on January 13th 1957. In the show "From Piaf to Mambo", Maria Elena portrays the life, philosophy and songs that made Edith Piaf the Icon of French Music, of whom 2015 marks her 100th birthday. Using an eclectic collection of magical pieces sure to equally puzzle and inspire, Jackson Ridd connects his magic to the audience through both mental and physical interaction at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, April 25th at 11:00 pm. You can expect magic to take place on stage, in your mind, and maybe even in your hands! Jackson Ridd is a "Magician." NYC: YOUNG PEOPLE'S CHORUS OF NEW YORK CITY

The Young People's Chorus of New York City, conducted by Artistic Director/Founder Francisco J. Nunez, will sing the world premieres of five compositions commissioned for its Radio Radiance broadcast/digital new music series on April 25th at 7:00 pm at SUBCULTURE NYC (45 Bleaker Street, NYC). The music is being recorded that evening for later broadcast by WWFM, The Classical Network, other public radio stations, and digitally through podcasts. The series was created by YPC in 2009 to excite and challenge the music perceptions of young people by reaching them through the kinds of audio technology they use every day: iPods, iPhones, sound pods, MP3's, laptops, as well as the time-honored medium of radio. In their compositions, each of the composers 0 Samuel Adler, Ryan Lott (aka Son Lux), Caroline Mallonee, Frank J. Oteri, and Aaron Siegel - have been challenged use new ideas and ways of thinking to write for today's young people and in the way they are most likely to enjoy music, not in concert halls only, but on the go. The April 25th concert/recording session will be hosted by YPC's longtime radio colleague, Soundcheck's John Schaefer, and attended by all of the composers, who will meet audience members at a Meet-The-Artist reception afterwards. Young People's Chorus of New York City is internationally renowned not only for its superb virtuosity and brilliant showmanship, but as a model for an inclusive society that is being replicated globally. Founded in 1988 by Artistic Director Francisco J. Nez, a MacArthur "genius" Fellow, YPC is also well known as a groundbreaker in invigorating the repertoire for young singers with more than 80 compositions YPC has commissioned from the most distinguished established and emerging composers of our time through its Transient Glory and Radio Radiance new music series. In residence at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall, each year YPC benefits almost 1,400 children from 7 to 18 musically, academically, and socially through its after-school and in-school programs. YPC has received America's highest honor for youth programs, a National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Award from the President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities. There is a $25 cover. 

NYC: 80'S VS 90'S PARTY WITH STIFLER'S MOM (THE ULTIMATE 90'S EXPERIENCE) & BONJOURNEY (ROCKIN THE 80'S) AT THE CUTTING ROOM

Stifler's Mom: The 90s. No Doubt to Pearl Jam, Spice Girls to Biggie, plus our Band Camp Horn Section perform at THE CUTTING ROOM (44 East 32nd Street, NYC - 212-691-1900) on Saturday, April 25th at 10:00 pm. The music, movies, and baggy neon clothes are back. BonJourney is a New York based Tribute Band paying tribute to Rock Icons, Bon Jovi and Journey. Their high energy show has been exciting and entertaining fans throughout the Tri-State area since 2010. BonJourney is a unique Tribute Band that blends the music of both Bon Jovi and Journey within each set. They not only capture the sound of each group, but their energy and spirit as well. NYC: MARILYN MAYE SINGS SINATRA AT 54 BELOW IN 8 SHOW RUN

Popular vocalist Marilyn Maye performs a Sinatra-themed show at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) for 8 show, opening on Friday, April 17th at 7:00 pm with additional appearances on Saturday, April 18th at 2:00 pm; Thursday, April 23th at 7:00 pm; Friday, April 24th at 8:30 pm; Saturday, April 25th at 7:00 pm; Monday & Tuesday, April 27th & 28th at 7:00 pm; and Thursday, April 30th at 7:00 pm. Marilyn Maye is an artist for connoisseurs and her powerhouse delivery and chatty rapport with the audience is what holds the evening together and electrifies the proceedings. The aptly named production is an unabashed valentine to the late superstar, from the Super Singer that pays tribute to Sinatra's career with an immensely talented peer's interpretations of the songs that made Sinatra famous. It's a full-scale labor of love for another performer that is rarely seen from an artist of Maye's stature, and that is exactly what makes the show a must-see experience. NYC: DONNA VIVINO: CONFESSIONS OF A BROADWAY BABY

After her sold out show at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551 - ), Donna Vivino returns on Saturday, Aopril 25th at 9:30 pm for another witty evening of songs and stories as she shares the stage with former co-stars and castmates from Wicked, Submissions Only, Hairspray, Les Miserables and many more. Broadway fell in love with Donna when, in 1987, she created the role of Young Cosette in the original Broadway production of Les Miserables. Since then, she's danced through the 70s (Saturday Night Fever), sung with the nicest kids in town (Hairspray), laughed it up with Martin Short (Fame Becomes Me), and defied gravity as one of Wicked's most beloved Elphaba's. There is a $30-$70 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: LESLI MARGHERITA: ALL HAIL THE QUEEN!

Olivier Award winner Lesli Margherita (Matilda, Zorro) takes the "reigns" from the likes of Bette Midler and Liza Minnelli in her show All Hail the Queen at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Saturday, April 25th at 11:30 pm and Sunday, April 26th at 9:30 pm. An evening of sheer entertainment, All Hail the Queen is totally more than a cabaret. It's a Vegas-style nightclub act. Commanding the room with sass and bawdiness - plus some self-deprecating humor for good measure - Miss Margherita sings and struts her way through the 70-minute set, which includes twists on old songs and new favorites (courtesy of musical director/arranger Brett Ryback). With hilarious storytelling and showstopping numbers, the evening offers something for everyone. There will be feathers. There will be sparkles. And you better believe there will be worshipping. All Hail the Queen, written and conceived by Margherita, will be directed by Lauren Bass with musical direction & arrangements by Brett Ryback (Murder for Two) and produced by Jordan Bass & Lauren Bass. NYC: THE LOSERS LOUNGE TRIBUTE TO JONI MITCHELL

The Losers Lounge is back at JOE'S PUB at THE PUBLIC THEATRE (425 Lafayette Street, NYC - 212-967-7555) on Thursday, April 23rd at 7:00 pm; Friday, April 24th & 25th at 7:00 & 9:30 pm with all of the incredible songs, great performances, irreverent antics, and special guests that you can only find at The Losers Lounge. This weekend they will pay tribute to the songs of Joni Mitchell. The Losers Lounge is a collective of NewYork City•s finest performers who have been selling out live shows every other month for twenty years. Founded in 1993 by former Psychedelic Furs keyboardist Joe McGinty, the band continues to canonize the great songwriting catalogues of the '60s, '70s and '80s in its own unique way. "From Abba to the Zombies". The Losers Lounge is in the business of redemption; honoring pop stars from these eras and validating the zeal of music fans. Returning this year are 2015 Bistro Award Winner, Marissa Mulder and long-time NYC cabaret favorite Phyllis Pastore. The cast is completed by returning performers Tom Gamblin, master of ceremonies Warren Schein, and Robert Gino, a PS177Q therapist who is the driving force behind this event, which has raised over $60,000 to date. Duke Ellington's 116th Birthday Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 25th, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Ellington Statue in the outdoor plaza at the junction of 110th Street & 5th Avenue, NYC. The event will also celebrate this year's birthdays of five deceased music legends: Frank Sinatra, Billy Strayhorn and Billie Holiday, whose centennial birthdays are being celebrated this year; the 98th birthday of Ella Fitzgerald; and the 92nd birthday of Tito Puente. The celebration will take place from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in the outdoor plaza at the junction of 5th Avenue and 110th Street - The Gateway to Harlem - beneath the towering statue of Duke Ellington standing besides his piano, a majestic work of art erected in 1997 with funds raised by Bobby Short. Saturday's celebration will be hosted by noted dancer/ choreographer Mercedes Ellington, the Duke's granddaughter who founded DECFA in 2004. The entertainment will be provided by legendary jazz vocalists Antoinette Montague and Marion Cowings, tap dancers Tony Waag and students from The American Tap Dance Foundation/ Tap City and Alec Cowings. They will perform to the music provided by famed percussionist Bobby Sanabria and his Grammy nominated Manhattan School of Music Big Band. Panamanian by birth, a New Yorker by upbringing, and a resident of Switzerland for more than 25 years, Cobham has pursued an ever-broadening, ever-deepening engagement with the world not only as a master drummer and percussionist but as a composer, producer, educator, and clinician who gives service through music even as he constantly expands his personal creative expression. He has also written and starred in 9 cabaret song cycles of his work: And Then She Dumped Me, The Gayest Straight Man Alive, Meaningful Sex, Neurotic Tendencies, Why Am I Not Famous Yet?, Writer's Block: a cabaret that was hard to write, I'll Relax When I'm Dead: a reluctantly prolific cabaret, If Adele Can Do It, So Can I: an evening of mostly sorrow and Not Your Grandma's Cabaret (unless she's really naughty). He produces two annual charity concerts of his work featuring Broadway performers (Broadway Meows and Broadway Can!), writes/ stars in the web series Every Day a Little Seth (Season 5 premieres June 2015), and by May 2015, will have emceed, produced and accompanied over 350 talent showcases at Don't Tell Mama. In addition, he recently published a memoir: Sleep. Write. Now. Emerging from a dark year of insomnia, anxiety and depression from loss. He has two Bachelors' Degrees from MIT (Computer Science & Engineering and Music Composition) and a Masters' Degree in Music Technology from NYU. There is a $12 cover and 2 drink minimum.

NYC: JOEL B. NEW IN CONCERT AT THE DUPLEX

Joel B. New In Concert returns to THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) with a new show on Friday, April 24th at 9:30 pm. Joel will sing and play a handful of selections at the piano, with a surprise guest or two, all the while sharing the moments of his life - both hilarious and heartbreaking - that inspired these songs into being. A composer, lyricist, playwright, and performer, Joel B. New moved from the Midwest to New York in 2004 to pursue a career in musical theatre writing. He is the proud recipient of a 2008 American Theatre Wing Jonathan Larson Grant for his music and lyrics. His stage projects include TO HELL AND BACK, MACKENZIE & THE MISSING BOY, AWAKENING (book: Jenny Stafford, music: J. Oconer Navarro), STANDALONE, THE NOBODY DIARIES, SHIVER, and RSVP. Joel's work has been seen and developed in New York at Ars Nova, Lincoln Center, 54 Below, New York Theatre Barn, and more. In addition to the Larson Award, his honors include being a two-time O'Neill Music Theatre Conference finalist, receiving an NYU-Tisch Alumni Grant, a Margo Lion Award for Outstanding Adaptation, and a Blevins-Thrower Encouragement Award. NYC: "ALL ABOUT THAT FACE" AT STAGE 72

There will be a special performance of a new musical entertainment: "All About That Face" at STAGE 72 (158 West 72nd Street, NYC - 212-362-2590) on Friday, April 24th at 9:00 pm. The show stars•Courtney Cheatham, Amelia Hart, Roxy Reynolds, and Eva Richards. The evening is a fresh cabaret about love, the guys who didn't text, and the prince who did! It will be a night of Showtunes and pop favorites. Created by Phil Hall, who is also the musical director and accompanist. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: TAYLOR EIGSTI'S FREE AGENCY AT SUBCULTURE

Two-time GRAMMY-nominated composer and pianist Taylor Eigsti brings his newest project FREE AGENCY - a band that includes two keyboard players, two vocalists, electric bass, and drums - to SUBCULTURE NYC (45 Bleaker Street, NYC) on Friday, April 24th at 9:30 pm. The fresh new original music, which Eigsti describes as "Eclectic modern R&B with a cinematic backdrop," is a departure from Eigsti's straight-ahead jazz background, but informed by it just the same. The band has a changing cast of characters, borrowing the concept of "free agency" from the sports world, where talented players come and go, but the team is bigger than any individual. The musical mission of Free Agency is to create a consistent sound as a band while having many changing lead voices. On any given performance, the band may include musicians as diverse as Eric Harland, Gerald Clayton, Harish Raghavan, Gretchen Parlato, Becca Stevens, Alan Hampton, and an orchestra from time to time. Every concert includes special mystery guest "free agents" as well. The individual band members will always remain a surprise, but the music will have the same intent. While Eigsti is technically the leader of the group, the audience may notice that the band sounds like it is led by all of them together. Exciting original music without ego, made for the fun of playing and listening to it. There is a $10 cover. 

NYC: MARILYN MAYE SINGS SINATRA AT 54 BELOW IN 8 SHOW RUN

Popular vocalist Marilyn Maye performs a Sinatra-themed show at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) for 8 show, opening on Friday, April 17th at 7:00 pm with additional appearances on Saturday, April 18th at 2:00 pm; Thursday, April 23th at 7:00 pm; Friday, April 24th at 8:30 pm; Saturday, April 25th at 7:00 pm; Monday & Tuesday, April 27th & 28th at 7:00 pm; and Thursday, April 30th at 7:00 pm. Marilyn Maye is an artist for connoisseurs and her powerhouse delivery and chatty rapport with the audience is what holds the evening together and electrifies the proceedings. The aptly named production is an unabashed valentine to the late superstar, from the Super Singer that pays tribute to Sinatra's career with an immensely talented peer's interpretations of the songs that made Sinatra famous. It's a full-scale labor of love for another performer that is rarely seen from an artist of Maye's stature, and that is exactly what makes the show a must-see experience. There is a $55-$110 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: LATE NIGHT - BADIA FARHA AT 54 BELOW

Badia Farha (aka Lady Rose) brings her original songs and "R&B/Soul +" style to 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551 - ) on Friday, April 24th at 11:00 pm as part of the club's Late Night Series. Joined by a six-piece band, she presents "Lady Sings For You" which features original songs from Badia's solo album "Still Waiting?" and newly released radio hit "Don't Know," as well as a tribute to Carmen McCrae and Aretha Franklin and a bit of bossa nova jazz. As an NYC-based singer, songwriter, and actress, Badia has been seen off-Broadway in Sistas: The Musical; Joe Iconis' Things to Ruin, A Tribute to Alan Menken at Lincoln Center, as well as in the national and international tours of Little Shop of Horrors and RENT. Badia was also a back up singer for "America's Got Talent." There is a $20 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.
 
NYC: THE LOSERS LOUNGE TRIBUTE TO JONI MITCHELL
