Is there anything better than a road trip with friends or a show featuring 3 major New York City talents in one show? Producer, multi-MAC award winner and the first Julie Wilson Award Winner, Sue Matsuki is bringing a few of her very dearest and talented friends toBOB EGAN'S NEW HOPE - SUPPER CLUB AND CABARET (6426 Lower York Road, Route 202, New Hope, PA - 215-862-5225) on Saturday, April 9th at 8:30 pm when "The New York Invasion Comes To New Hope!". Her guests are Gretchen Reinhagen and Richard Skipper, with Tracy Stark, at the piano. Gretchen Reinhagen is the "triple crown winner" of the 2009 Bistro, Nightlife and MAC Awards. Multi-award winner Richard Skipper, fresh from his Off-Broadway run, will be performing as Richard in this show and not as his alter ego Carol Channing. Vocalist Jillian Laurain will honor Barbra Streisand, singing songs from early in her career, in her show "Hello, Gorgeous!" atTHE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909 ) for one night only on Saturday, April 9th at 7:00 pm. Her musical director is Christopher Cherney, conductor and arranger for the Ellington Project. Also joining Jillian on stage will be Howie Gordon on drums, David Dunaway on bass, and Sean Harkness on guitar. There is a $15 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.

San Francisco-based singer Cory Jamison returns to NYC to perform at the THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, April 9th at 7:00 pm. Cory is one of the leading young cabaret artists in America. Her interpretations of the American popular songbook have captivated audiences coast to coast in venues ranging from New York's Town Hall in the east, to the Chicago Jazz Festival in the midwest, and to The Plush Room and the Cinegrill in the west. Jamison emerged on the national scene with her critically acclaimed centennial tribute to the composer Hoagy Carmichael and her debut CD "Here's to Hoagy" on the LML Music label. Building on her success with the Hoagy Carmichael material, she expanded her popular following with tributes to Johnny Mercer, Cole Porter, Noel Coward, The Women of Tin Pan Alley, Richard Rodgers, and contemporary composers like Joni Mitchell and David Wilcox. She is also a regularly featured vocalist in the prestigious Chicago Humanities Festival and Mabel Mercer Foundation's Cabaret Conventions in New York, Chicago, and San Francisco. 2011 MAC Nominee Julie Reyburn returns toTHE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) for an encore performance of her acclaimed show, "SUMMER NIGHT", on Saturday April 9th at 4:00 pm for your consideration. The song list features works by Cy Coleman, Harold Arlen, James Taylor, William Finn, Henry Mancini and more, "Summer Night" weaves an emotional journey with unique interpretation and classic arrangements. Special Musical Guest is Miles Phillips.
