NYS: FORT SALEM THEATER'S 5th ANNIVERSARY CABARET SERIES - Nancy Timpanaro-Hogan

NYS: FORT SALEM THEATER'S 5th ANNIVERSARY CABARET SERIES - Nancy Timpanaro-Hogan

The MAINSTAGE AT FORT SALEM THEATER (11 East Broadway, Salem, NY - 518-854-9200), Washington County's Theater Home for Music, Musicals, and Cabaret, announces its lineup for the fifth annual FALL AT THE FORT CABARET SERIES. Running four consecutive November Saturdays, this year's theme is Homecoming, performances by some of the most successful acts that have played in the cabaret room. On November 12th, international cabaret star Nancy Timpanaro-Hogan debuts her new act, Accentuate the Positive, Baby! Songs I Love to Sing!, having sold out every solo Salem performance and produced and hosted last Christmas's An Andy Williams Family Christmas Spectacular (Minus Andy Williams). The poster girl for homecoming, she fell in love and married chiropractor Wayne Hogan from her hometown, and returned to Mechanicville after a meteoric rise and twenty years in Manhattan cabaret, touring and opening for Joan Rivers, appearing on tour internationally, and starring across the country in her own one-woman show about Totie Fields. Ms. Timpanaro-Hogan embodies the many aspects of the true cabaret spirit with her intense sense of the immediate and the intimate. Not one to be held to a tightly constructed script, Nancy never fails to seize the moment, commenting and cajoling as she wanders with purpose through her appreciative, sometimes unsuspecting audience. Call for cover/minimum information.
