CABARET TONIGHT IN NYC: WBGO JAZZ SERIES: SHAREL CASSITY FEATURING CYRUS CHESTNUT
The WBGO JAZZ SERIES presents rising star saxophonist Sharel Cassity at54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Tuesday, October 8th with performances at 7:00 & 9:00 pm. Sharel is making waves on the New York and international jazz scenes with her fiery performances and compositions. A graduate of the New School and Juilliard, Cassity has played with Christian McBride, The Diva Jazz Orchestra, Roy Hargrove, James Moody, Natalie Cole, and many others. Now she brings a swinging all-star band to 54 Below featuring Cyrus Chestnut, Freddie Hendrix, Dezron Douglas, and EJ Strickland. There is a $25-$35 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
