NYC: LYNN HENDERSON'S "IF WE ONLY HAVE LOVE" CD AVAILABLE

Lynn Henderson's memories as a singer date back to grade school when she wore out a recording of "It's Magic" singing along with Doris Day. Throughout her life, singing has been her passion. From big band vocalist to saloon singer to Handel soloist to cabaret singer, it has all been a joy! The chapters of her life from single New Yorker to wife, mom, equestrienne, businesswoman, divorcee and world traveler all contribute to her selection of songs that speak to me. Life has given Lynn a finer appreciation of great songs and a deeper understanding of what the extraordinary musical poets are telling us. Welcome to Lynn's world!

Lynn's new CD, titled "If We Only Have Love", was released on September 15, 2014. Since enjoying these songs with her audiences and wonderful musicians over the last couple of years at the Metropolitan Room in New York City and all over CT., Lynn has been encouraged to share them with a larger audience.

You can purchase the CD at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/lynnhenderson2

NEWS FROM THE CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE NEWSLETTER - NYC: MOSCOW 57 CLOSES - TO REOPEN IN SEPTEMBER AS MOSCOW 57 PRESENTS KAPOWSKI'S

NEWS FROM THE CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE NEWSLETTER

TOP STORIES FROM ISSUE #150801 - AUGUST 4th, 2015

NYC: MOSCOW 57 CLOSES - TO REOPEN IN SEPTEMBER AS MOSCOW 57 PRESENTS KAPOWSKI'S

Ellen Kaye and the team that brought you MOSCOW57 ON DELANCEY(168 1/2 Delancey Street, NYC - 212-260-5775) are joining forces with Restaurateur Tony Powe to create a new Lower East Side adventure at 168 1/2 Delancey Street called MOSCOW 57 PRESENTS KAPOWSKI'S, "a place to eat, drink and talk." Kapowski's is the merging of Kaye and Powe's family names. Kapowski's is also the merging of the two restaurateurs' current concepts: 2ND FLOOR ON CLINTON and MOSCOW 57. Chef Nikita Ponomarev's menu will range from Russian Central Asian tapas to pelmeni to smoked salmon to classic shrimp cocktail to fried oysters to caviar in a speakeasy setting with a cocktail menu of cognac, Champagne, Moscow 57-infused vodkas, and the type of specialty cocktails that 2nd Floor on Clinton has become famous for. Moscow 57's signature live music will be an intrinsic part of the new concept on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday nights. Seth Goldman and Ethan Fein, Kaye's partners in Moscow 57 will be an important part of this new venture, and Moscow 57 continues as an entertainment and special events company.
In preparation for the new venture, both Kaye's and Powe's teams are making an homage to the classic European-style of August holiday and will take the first half of the month off. The Moscow 57 team will be heading to their dachas in the woods, while Powe and the team from 2nd Floor on Clinton will be at an undisclosed location. After a well-deserved break, they will be returning to give Moscow 57 a new fall wardrobe. 2ND FLOOR ON CLINTON at 67 Clinton Street celebrated its last night on Wednesday, July 29th.
