Concerts for City Greens, the free outdoor concert series that brings the sounds of music to the heart of Midtown, presents its third show of its fifth season on Thursday August 2nd at 6:30 pm at Tudor City Greens. (Postponed from Wednesday). Concerts for City Greens dedicates this month's show to the music of Neil Sedaka. Headlined by the Brooklyn-born hit maker himself, "Love Will Keep Us Together" stars the ASCAP Award-winning singer-songwriter Jim Van Slyke, the MAC-winning harmony group Marquee Five, and the actress Carole Demas, co-star of TV's Magic Garden, and the original Sandy in "Grease." Also appearing in this special tribute to Sedaka's six decade-long career will be his niece, newcomer Holland Grossman, who makes her Broadway debut in "Rebecca." The Windham Hill recording artist, Sean Harkness (2012 MAC Recording of the Year), and the 4-time MAC & 2-time Bistro Award-winning big band innovator Terese Genecco return as series regulars. The concert's featured instrumentalists are the music directors Bill Zeffiro, David Caldwell and Jeff Cubeta on piano, and Tom Hubbard on bass. All are series regulars. The Broadway and cabaret veteran Raissa Katona Bennett is the evening's host and producer. Award-winning cabaret singer Suzanne Carrico & Broadway actress Joi Danielle Price both found themselves "in the family way," so they decided to spend their summer with GREAT EXPECTATIONS, at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) for three Sundays: July 29th at 7:00 pm; August 5th at 4:00 pm; and August 12th at 7:00 pm. They will be accompanied on this musical journey through 9 months of waiting by Musical Director, Don Rebic, with Special Guest, Tracy Stark on the piano on August 5th & 12th. Suzanne Carrico made her Metropolitan Room debut in 2007 & won a 2008 MAC Award for her show The Art of the Cahn, Music
