This time she presents "Written by Ann Hampton Callaway", an evening featuring her very own musical compositions. She will be backed by the Ted Rosenthal Trio. The pianist, composer, lyricist, arranger and actress is sure to weave a spell in a night filled with songs that have won her multi Platinum Awards and the hearts of music lovers around the world. Her musical compositions have appeared on no fewer than six of Barbra Streisand's more recent CDs, and she's the only composer to have ever collaborated with Cole Porter. Baby Jane Dexter's brand new show, The Rules of the Road, debuts at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) for twelve performances only beginning Friday, November 16th and running on consecutive Fridays and Saturdays through December 22nd. All shows at 7:00 pm. Sharing the stage will be her respected musical partner Ross Patterson. The Rules of the Road is the latest emotionally empowering and highly-charged show from this influential and beloved cabaret artist who never disappoints. Her shows are filled with memorable anecdotes from life and a brilliant performing career as well as totally unforgettable song choices that have helped make her the local legend she remains today. FEINSTEIN'S at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue, NYC - 212-339-4095) presents the debut engagement of mother-son duo of world-class jazz pianist, Bill Charlap and Grammy Award-nominated vocalist Sandy Stewart on Monday through Saturday, November 19th through 24th (no show on the 22nd) at 8:00 pm, with additional shows at 10:30 pm on Friday & Saturday. The pair will perform a collection of ballads from some of the most popular songwriters of the twentieth century such as George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Harold Arlen, Richard Rodgers and Irving Berlin. Bill Charlap, one of the world's premier jazz pianists, has performed and recorded with many leading artists of our time, ranging from jazz masters Phil Woods and Wynton Marsalis to singers Tony Bennett and Barbra Streisand. Since 1997, he has led the Bill Charlap Trio with bassist Peter Washington and drummer Kenny Washington, now recognized as one of the leading groups in jazz. Sandy Stewart is best known for the Grammy-nominated song "My Coloring Book". She began her performing career at 15 in her native Philadelphia and soon moved to New York for a variety of television gigs with Merv Griffin, Dick Van Dyke, and as a regular with "The Perry Como Show" while also touring with Benny Goodman. After marrying Broadway composer Moose Charlap, she retired to rear sons Bill and Tom. Later, she resumed singing in clubs and on recordings and voiceovers. The Audrey Silver Quintet at The Metropolitan Room will perform at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Wednesday, November 21st at 9:30 pm. For her appearance at The Metropolitan Room, Audrey will be performing songs from her first two recordings (Here in My Arms and Dream Awhile), some of her own compositions, and will be previewing songs from her third album, to be released in the Spring. Her band includes: Bruce Barth, pianist; Paul Beaudry, bassist; and trumpeter Alex Norris. (Drummer TBA). There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

Donna Moore is performing 'Songs From the Cougar Vault' at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Tuesday, November 20th at 9:15 pm. You are invited to come to the 'room' where the Off Broadway hit "Cougar The Musical", currently playing at ST. LUKE'S THEATER (308 West 46th Street, NYC), was conceived and hear a number of songs that didn't make it into show but are roaring to be dusted off and listened to. The Tommy Igoe Big Band will perform at RRAZZ ROOM at THE HOTEL NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-394-1189) on Mondays November 12th & 19th at 7:30 pm, featuring 15 of the Bay Area's finest musicians, including members of Tower of Power, Santana and The Doobie Brothers. Drummer Tommy Igoe's Big Band is the hottest big band in NYC, and has been playing to sold out audiences every Friday night at the famed BIRDLAND for the past five years. He brings the same musical acumen to San Francisco, and endeavors to change the face of nightlife on Mondays. Igoe brings his big band pedigree (his father Sonny Igoe was the drummer for Benny Goodman and Woody Herman during the 40s-50s) to create a big band for the 21st Century. The Broadway at Birdland concert series is proud to announce that Ashley Brown will make her debut on the historic stage at BIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-581-3080) with her show "Call Me Irresponsible" on Monday, November 19th at 7:00 pm. Ashley's show will feature many of her favorite songs from Broadway and the American Songbook including selections from her PBS Special, which received a Telly Award. Yaron Gershovsky (Manhattan Transfer) will be her Music Director. Ashley Brown recently reprised her title role in Mary Poppins on Broadway for which she received Outer Critics, Drama League and Drama Desk nominations for Best Actress. Ms. Brown also starred as Mary Poppins in the national tour of Mary Poppins where she garnered a 2010 Garland award for "Best Performance in a Musical." Ms. Brown's other Broadway credits include Belle in Beauty and The Beast, and she has starred in the national tour of Disney's On The Record. There is a $25 cover plus a $10 food/drink minimum.

RRAZZ ROOM at THE HOTEL NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-394-1189 ) presents the debut engagement of stage and screen star ana gasteyer from "Suburgatory", "Saturday Night Live," and Broadway's Wicked o Friday & Saturday, November 16th & 17th at 9:15 pm and Sunday, November 18th at 7:00 pm. For her show "Elegant Songs from a Handsome Woman," Ana brings her unique comic wit and style to the stage in her new show of songs and stories, hot off engagements in New York, Toronto, Florida, Provincetown, and Los Angeles. On Sunday, November 18th at 9:00 pm, Elizabeth Stanley makes her solo cabaret debut at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551). Elizabeth Stanley burst onto the Broadway stage when she re-created the role of April in the 2006 revival of Stephen Sondheim's Company. Since then, she's delighted Broadway audiences in Cry-Baby and Million Dollar Quartet, and her critically-heralded performances off Broadway include The Transport Group's Hello, Again and the recent Encores! production of Merrily We Roll Along. There is a $20-$30 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.
Jim Caruso & Billy Stritch return toBEMELMAN'S BAR at the CARLYLE(35 East 76th Street, NYC - 212-570-7189) with their evening of swinging standards on Sunday, October 28th, and running every Sunday in November, from 9:00 pm to midnight. The two performers, who have performed extensively on their own, gained national exposure together as the host and musical director of the wildly popular open mic, Cast Party, which celebrates talent every Monday at Birdland in NYC, and tours nationally. During their June debut run at Bemelmans, the duo received critical acclaim, and made news when showbiz heavy-hitters like Liza Minnelli and Michael Feinstein joined them in impromptu performances. In their upcoming Carlyle run, Caruso and Stritch will be joined by bassist Steve Doyle. There is a $15-$25 cover.
