Lucille Carr-Kaffashan was one of almost 56,000 ecstatic fans who cheered for The Beatles during their unprecedented outdoor concert at Shea Stadium on August 15, 1965. This fall, Lucille brings her acclaimed version of Beatlemania back to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788), New York City's legendary cabaret theater and piano bar, with In My Life, Celebrating 50 Years of Beatles Music. With musical director Jeff Cubeta on piano, Sean Harkness on guitar, and Jacob Silver on bass, Lucille will perform In My Life on Sunday, November 9th at 5:00 pm. With direction by Eric Michael Gillett and musical arrangements by David Brunetti, this show features a selection of songs released by the Fab Four during the eight years that they recorded together, from 1962 to 1970. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. $15 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.

Musical director is Gregory Toroian with direction by Kimberly Vaughn with Ritt Henn on bass and Robbyn Tongue on woodwinds. Special Guest is Frank Ayala. NYC: SUNDAY NOON OPEN MIC AT THE METROPOLITAN ROOM
Sunday Open Mic comes to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on the 2nd & 4th Sundays each month from 12:00 noon to 2:30 pm (signup ay 11:30 am). Presented and hosted by Susan Winter and Deb Berman, the "OPEN MIC AT THE MET" is not your average Open Mic since it will be presented on the iconic stage, with amazing acoustics, high-end equipment, and experienced sound engineer to help create a concert-like experience in Metropolitan Room's friendly, warm environment. Each Open Mic offers different pianists to accompany your performance. There is a $15 cover plus a $10 food/drink minimum.
Adam B. Shapiro, the bearded, leather-loving teddy bear Bella from HBO's The Normal Heart, and a 2013 MAC Award winner for Musical Comedy performer, will perform at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Sunday, November 8th at 4:00 pm. Adam premieres his newest show Nothing Normal, an eclectic mix of songs and stories celebrating the hilarious and precarious sides of life, including some anecdotes from behind the scenes of the movie. Working with MAC and Bistro Award winners Barry Levitt (Musical Director) and Peter Napolitano (Director), with the Barry Levitt Trio, Adam promises an evening of smiles and surprises, showing that, while he might not be normal, he's got a lot of heart. There is a $22.50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
