NEW HOPE, PA: 3 MEN & A BABY GRAND! AT THE RRAZZ

Broadway and Recording Artists, John Boswell, Brian Lane Green and Lee Lessack, join voices in "Three Men and a Baby...Grand!" at THE RRAZZ ROOM IN NEW HOPE(6426 Lower York Road, New Hope, PA - 888-596-1027) on Thursday & Friday, November 13th & 14th at 8:00 pm. Their harmonies are incredible and individually each one brings star-power to the stage. John Boswell has served as musical director for Andy Williams, Judy Collins and Bob Newhart and has cooked up some of the most ingenious arrangements for "Three Men". Brian Lane Green was last seen on Broadway starring as JoJo in Cy Coleman's musical "The Life," and award-winning cabaret/recording artist, Lee Lessack has just completed a 250 city national tour of "An Enchanted Evening: The Music Of Broadway". WASHINGTON, DC: ELIANE ELIAS AT BLUES ALLEY

Elaine Elias will perform at BLUES ALLEY (1073 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington, DC - 202-337-4141)on Thursday through Sunday, November 13th through 16th with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. Elias is known for her distinctive and immediately recognizable musical style which blends her Brazilian roots and sensuous, alluring voice with impressive instrumental jazz, classical and compositional skills. With 23 albums to date demonstrating her unique gifts as a pianist, singer, composer and arranger as well as melding her immense talents in jazz, pop, classical and Brazilian music. There's no question about it: Five time GRAMMY Award Nominee, four time Gold Disc Award recipient and three time winner of Best Vocal Album in Japan, #1 artist in sales and radio airplay in France, with all recordings reaching top five on Billboard's jazz chart, jazz radio charts and iTunes to name just a few of the accolades, Eliane Elias has taken her place in the pantheon of music giants. WASHINGTON, DC: DERRICK HODGE AT BOHEMIAN CAVERNS

Derrick Hodge will perform at BOHEMIAN CAVERNS (2001 Eleventh Street N.W., Washington, DC - 202-299-0800) on Friday & Saturday, November 14th & 15th with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. Hodge is perhaps best known as the anchor of the genre-bending, GRAMMY award-winning band Robert Glasper Experiment, but he has also spent time in the cutting-edge jazz trumpeter Terence Blanchard's group, and is currently the music director for the R&B star Maxwell. He has been in demand as a producer and musician with artist like Maxwell, Common, Floetry, Terence Blanchard, Q-Tip, Jill Scott, and many more. Live Today weaves together a distinctive musical vision from 14 stylistically diverse originals either written or co-written by Hodge that traverse modern jazz, hip-hop, R&B, gospel, and acoustic folk. The album features guest appearances from rapper Common, singer-guitarist Alan Hampton, as well as RGE members Robert Glasper, vocoderist Casey Benjamin, and drummers Mark Colenburg and Chris Dave, in addition to keyboardists James Poyser and Aaron Parks, saxophonist Marcus Strickland, trumpeter Keyon Harrold, and the American String Quartet, among others. There is a $25 cover. 

BETHESDA, MD: THE TEXAS CHAINSAW HORNS & HOT MESS BURLESQUE

The Texas Chainsaw Horns & Hot Mess Burlesque will perform at BETHESDA BLUES & JAZZ SUPPER CLUB (7719 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, MD - 240-330-4500) on Friday, November 14th at 8:00 pm. Miss Bliss, Maria Bella, and Bitsy Buttons return along with Porcelain, aerialist Patsi Cake, Sophia Sunday, Indy Go-Go, Mark Slomski, the flaming tuba of Captain Sousaflame, Argentine tango dancers and of course Marie L'ennui, MJ and Casey Jean (The Bottom Drawer Girls). DC's own multi Wammie award winning TEXAS CHAINSAW HORNS will be backing all the performers and playing some dance sets. There is a $20 cover - must be over 18 with ID.
