NYC: THE CHAMLIN'S RETURN WITH "GEMS BY JULE: SELECTIONS FROM THE JULE STYNE SONGBOOK"
Paul and Rochelle Chamlin bring back their critically acclaimed Jule Styne retrospective "GEMS BY JULE: SELECTIONS FROM THE JULE STYNE SONGBOOK" to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Thursday, November 13th. Both shows are at 7:30 pm. Selections span Styne's 60+ year career, from his early days in jazz-infused Chicago to Hollywood in its studio heyday, on to the Golden Age of Broadway and television. You'll enjoy familiar favorites as well as a few novelties, including the very first song Styne ever published, and one of the very last. Teresa Fischer directs. Paul and Rochelle's delightful shows feature witty banter, an eclectic choice of music, and unique chemistry. There is a $15 cover and a 2 drink minimum.BANNER ADVERTISER

ASBURY PARK, NJ: BOB EGAN'S SHOWCASE NIGHT AT TIM McLOONES
The next Bob Egan's Showcase Night will be held at TIM McLOONE'S SUPPER CLUB(1200 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ - 732-774-1155) on Thursday, November 13th at 8:00 pm. Bob hosts this talent showcase, featuring six to eight performers each show. This evening Bob features special guest singers: The Random Hubiak, Patty Leone (with Matt Casey), Gina Leigh, Devyn Rush, Sharon Lasher, Andrez Fredericks, Chaslyn Sweetwood, Jonathan Waterfield and more! Piano bar and open mic follows the show in the lounge. $10 cover at the door.

Harold Sanditen, jazz-cabaret singer and veteran theatre producer, is host of Open Mic Night at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) every Thursday at 10:30 pm, ably supported by regular musicians Michael Roulston on piano and Jonty Fisher on bass. It is always an entertaining evening full of fun and surprise. Aimed at both the jazz and theatrical communities, The Crazy Coqs Open Mic Night welcomes all singers, composers and musicians, up & coming and established, who want to do a turn, performing new material or old favourites. For the audience, come and catch that proverbial 'rising star' (or possibly a famous West End name) in the intimate, "jewel-box" surroundings of The Crazy Coqs. Call for cover/minimum information.
