CHICAGO: DO-RE-MI-FA-SO-LA-TI-GO! AT DAVENPORT'S
Jazz master Robert Rodi returns to DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Wednesday, November 12th at 8:00 pm with every tune from the beloved musical 'Sound Of Music', performed like you've never heard them before, from a Latin-rhythm "Maria" to a gospel "Climb Ev'ry Mountain." And tying it all together: Robert's hilariously Beatnik verse narration of the story. The hills are alive with the sound of bossa, samba, scat and swing! Robert is joined by Justin Bernard Bowse on piano and Matt Gold on bass. There is a $12 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
