Chris Barrett performs at LA RIVISTA RISTORANTE(313 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-366-4603) where he is at the piano Mondays through Wednesdays in an open-ended run. There are two shows nightly, a dinner show at 8:00 and a supper show at 10:00 pm. Chris Barrett's performances are in the tradition of the great late-night boites of a fondly remembered era, when the likes of Hugh Shannon, Bobby Short, and Buddy Barnes manned the keyboard. Heartbeats of the World (http://www.howeducate.org ), an organization that helps poor children around the world, will hold a benefit on Monday, November 10th at 8:00 pm at MERKIN CONCERT HALL at the KAUFMAN CENTER (129 West 67th Street, NYC - 212-501-3330). MC will be Arthur Pomposello, one time Manager of the now closed Oak Room at the Hotel Algonquin. The theme of the concert is "Cabaret is Alive and Well' and will feature Andrea Marcovicci performing her acclaimed show "I'll Be Seeing You ... Love Songs of World War 11" and Eric Comstock, Barbara Fasano and Jeff Harnar, who will perform "Rat Pock Poet, Songs of Sammy Cahn". NYC: BROADWAY ON 22ND STREET FINAL 2014 SHOW
"Broadway On 22nd Street", now in its third season, will celebrate the music of Smokey Joe's Cafe at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ) on Monday, November 10th at 7:00 pm. This is it the final Broadway On 22nd Street for 2014 and they are going out with a bang. Scheduled to appear are Jeremy Abram; In the Heights' Tony Chiroldes; from the first national tour of In The Heights, Christina Aranda; and from Smokey Joe's Cafe, Adrian Bailey. Each performer sings a mini set that incudes Broadway and non Broadway Songs. Created by Joseph Macchia Broadway On 22nd street features some of Broadways most talented performers. Olivier Award nominee and celebrated Broadway favorite Brent Barrett (Chicago; Kiss Me, Kate; Annie Get Your Gun) will debut his new cabaret act "Life Is: The Songs Of Kander & Ebb" at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ) on Monday (9:30 pm), Wednesday (7:00 pm) and Thursday (9:30 pm), November 10t, 12th & 13th. Directed by Barry Kleinbort with musical direction by Christopher Denny, "Life Is" is a musical celebration of the legendary Broadway songwriting team of John Kander andFred Ebb, the creators of more than a dozen hit Broadway shows, including Cabaret, Chicago, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Steel Pier, Curtains and, most recently, The Scottsboro Boys. There is a $30 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
NYC: CARLO CHAPELLE IN "SHADES OF BLUE"
Chicago based singer, Carlo Chapelle, will bring his smooth pop/jazz tones to the stage of DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - ) on Monday, November 10th at 7:00 pm. With appearances in Chicago, Los Angeles and the Philippines, Carlo now makes his NYC cabaret debut. He will be bringing his love of different genres of music. Songs include "What are You Doing the Rest of Your Life?", the single "Please Don't Ask Me" which reached top 30 on the jazz charts in Australia several years ago, and his cover of the Kevyn Lettau hit, "Sunlight". These songs are featured on Carlo's debut Cd, "Shade of Blue", which was recorded over three years in Chicago, Indiana and Manila features an eclectic group of songs including several standards. Music Director, Derrick Bounds, is a native of Chicago, Il. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

Tony Winner, Lillias White returns to STAGE 72 (158 West 72nd Street, NYC - 212-362-2590 - ) on Monday, November 10th at 9:30 pm with her new show 'Grown & Sexy Part 1'. This intimate, unplugged "Just A Piano" Concert will feature Michael O. Mitchell (Motown the Musical) on piano and as Musical Director. Lillias White's most recently appeared in Primary Stages' Off-Broadway production of While I Yet Live, by Tony Winner, Billy Porter. Lillias White's many Broadway credits include Fela!, for which she garnered a Tony Nomination; Cats, How To Succeed..., Chicago, Dreamgirls, Once On This Island, Barnum, and The Life earning her the prestigious Quadruple Crown - The Friends Of New York Theatre, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Tony Awards for her portrayal of "Sonja," the hooker with the heart of gold! Two-time Tony Award winner and 54 Below favorite Patti LuPone returns to 54 BELOW(254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Monday through Thursday, November 3rd through 6th; Saturday, November 8th; Monday through Saturday, November 10th through 15th, all shows at 7:00 pm; There is an additional show added on Saturday, November 15th at 9:30 pm. She will present 'Part Two of Far Away Places', the show which she premiered to critical acclaim when 54 Below opened in June 2012. In this continuation of the show (which will include a few encores from the landmark Part One) she further explores her wanderlust, performing songs by an eclectic group of songwriters including Irving Caesar, Billy Joel, David Yazbek, Johnny Mercer and Kris Kristofferson. Known primarily as a music director and accompanist, this concert is Adam's public "coming out" as a composer/lyricist. Expect to hear original songs from Adam's new musical Tarrytown, the hit web series Submissions Only and The Battery's Down, and new material written specifically for this show, as well as original arrangements of well-known songs created for various concerts from Adam's prolific career as a music director, all performed by a starry group of his Broadway-veteran friends. Directed by Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Musical Direction by Paul Staroba.
