Every second Wednesday of the month Leslie Holmes hosts an amazing Open Mic night at the AMAZING THINGS ARTS CENTER(160 Hollis Street, Framingham, MA - 508-405-2787), and each show features a special guest. On Wednesday, November 12th the featured guest will be singer/pianist Steve Heck. Steve will also be accompanist for the open-mic section of the evening. Steve Heck is a professor at "Berklee College Of Music " where he has a room named after him at the school. It is called the "Steve Heck Room." Steve plays and teaches private lessons in the Boston area. He has performed with "Richie Havens", the famous rock band, "The Birds" and with jazz saxophonist Joe Henderson. The open-mic starts at 7:00 pm (signup at 6:30 pm), and the featured performers go on at 8:10 pm. There is an $10 cover charge ($9 cover for BACA members).
