LONDON: SIMON LOUGHTON AND JULEZ HAMILTON AT CRAZY COQS
Simon Loughton and Julez Hamilton present a double-bill at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888 - ) on Monday, July 28th at 8:00 pm. In the first act, Simon performs 'What A Difference A Day Made', a look at some of the highs and lows he experienced since moving from sunny Perth, Australia to the cold streets of good ol' London town. The second act is Julez Hamilton's 'Love', a humorous and honest tale of her first love affair, from dreaming of her perfect man to finding him and discovering he is married. With songs from Sondheim, Weill, Bergman and many more. Simon has performed leading roles in a variety of shows including A Chorus Line, Crazy For You, Side by Side by Sondheim and John & Jen, as well as a variety of solo and ensemble cabaret performances. He has also written and co-directed a variety of short films, performed for the English National Ballet and co-produced and starred in a production of No Way To Treat A Lady where he received five star reviews for his performance. As a cabaret artist Julez has performed in the USA, France, Holland and Russia as well as many venues around the UK. She has also had success on the theatrical stage playing Gwendolyn (Importance of Being Ernest), Olivia (Twelfth Night), The Witch (Into The Woods) and Muzetta (La Boheme) to name a few. Julez's EP Obsessions was launched in May 2014 and she is soon to appear in an original re-working of Othello as part of The Camden Fringe this August. Call for cover/minimum information.
