NYC: BARRET IS BACK ON RESTAURANT ROW
Chris Barrett returns to LA RIVISTA RISTORANTE (313 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-366-4603) on Monday, May 19th, where he will be at the piano Mondays through Wednesdays. There are two shows nightly, a dinner show at 8:00 and a supper show at 10:00 pm. Chris Barrett's performances are in the tradition of the great late-night boites of a fondly remembered era, when the likes of Hugh Shannon, Bobby Short, and Buddy Barnes manned the keyboard. There is no cover charge.

NYC: DAN BOLTON: THE NEW YORK SESSIONS
Singer/ songwriter Dan Bolton presents 'The New York Sessions' at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Monday, July 28th at 9:30 pm. Where the new meets the old is but one way to describe Dan Bolton's original music. His songwriting delves into the rich tapestries and flavours of jazz and pop. At its core however, remains an individual expression that is very now. This is music with broad appeal for anyone who appreciates the art of good songwriting with groove. Dan's music has literally taken him all over the world. For the past 2 years he has been based in NYC where he has been pianist and musical director for Broadway star Nathan Lee Graham and Glenn Miller Orchestra singer, Laura Hart. For this show, Dan will be featuring songs from his recently completed album, The New York Sessions, Volume 1. You can check out some of the material on his website: www.danbolton.net. He will be performing with his quartet, Joe Nero on drums, Michael Blanco on bass and fellow Aussie, Adrian Cunningham on sax/ flute/ clarinet. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

Two-time Tony Award winner and 54 Below favorite Patti LuPone returns to54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) with her critically-acclaimed show The Lady with A Torch on Monday, July 21st through Saturday, August 2nd (no show on Sunday, the 27th of July). Patti performs an eclectic collection of torch songs by such composers and lyricists as Arthur Schwartz, Howard Dietz, Jule Styne, Sammy Cahn, Billy Barnes, Harold Arlen, George and Ira Gershwin, and Cole Porter. There is a $90-$105 cover plus a $30 food/drink minimum.
NYC: MARGO SEIBERT: BUSY BEING FREE
Margo Seibert will perform at54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Monday, July 28th at 9:30 pm. This season, she has made her debut on the Great White Way singing the music of Ahrens & Flaherty in Rocky as well as giving a tour-de-force (and Drama Desk Nominated) performance in the original musical Tamar of the River. For Margo, this has been a season of rapid growth and discovery. Across the board, she has been recognized for her depth of character and nuanced vocal performance. In Busy Being Free at 54 Below, joined by songwriter Jahn Sood, musical director Chris Fenwick and an excellent ensemble of musicians, Margo will share the music that inspires her, tickles her, and speaks to this moment of finding herself in New York. There is a $25-$35 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks are back - and now will play every Monday & Tuesday night from 8:00 to 11:00 pm at at IGUANA'S VIP LOUNGE (240 West 54th Street, NYC - 212-765-5454). Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks is an eleven-piece band playing music of the 1920s & 30s for your dining and dancing pleasure. In 1976 Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks (originally known as the New Orleans Nighthawks) was formed. A big-band historian and collector, Giordano has more than 60,000 scores in his collection.
