TORONTO: JAZZ BISTRO YOUNG ARTIST SERIES: MARK KAZAKEVICH
Mark Kazakevich returns to THE JAZZ BISTRO (251 Victoria Street, Toronto, ONT, CA - 416-363-5299 - ) on Tuesday, July 29th at 6:00 pm as part of the club's Young Artist Series. Mark is a Toronto based pianist who plays in a variety of styles, but prefers playing Traditional Swing and Bebop with a subtle modern touch. Coming from a classical background, Mark began focusing his attention on jazz and has continued with it ever since. He has played in various combos and bands, including the JazzFM.91 Youth Big Band, Hart House Jazz Ensemble, and various combos at Humber College. Currently at the University of Toronto, Mark enjoys playing in venues around the city and elsewhere with his friends and fellow musicians, experimenting with genres such as Latin Jazz and other World music. There is no cover.

Mellow Dee (Dwight Grant), singer/ songwriter/ pianist/ producer, now located in Toronto, will perform at THE JAZZ BISTRO (251 Victoria Street, Toronto, ONT, CA - 416-363-5299 - h ) on Tuesday, July 29th at 7:0 pm. A combination soul/ jazz/ r&b with gospel, this Canadian artist is often compared to John Legend and Stevie Wonder. Velvety smooth vocals and charismatic keyboard skills, Mellow Dee is always a crowd pleaser.
