MATINEE CABARET TODAY IN TORONTO: SATURDAY AFTERNOON YOUNG ARTIST SERIES WITH THE SAM DICKINSON DUO AT 12:30 pm
Pianist Sam Dickinson performs at THE JAZZ BISTRO (251 Victoria Street, Toronto, ONT, CA - 416-363-5299 - ) on Saturday, May 3rd at 12:30 pm as part of the clubs Saturday Afternoon Young Artist Series. Sam Dickinson began piano when he was 5, then switched to guitar at the age of 8. He was in the Humber College Community Music program for 6 years beginning in 2004. Sam has played at venues all over Canada as well as in Manhattan, Boston, Washington DC, Louisville, around the Burgundy area of France, and in Atina Italy, sharing the stage with the likes of Danilo Perez, Jerry Bergonzi, Jack DeJohnette, Pat LaBarbara and Kirk MacDonald. He has studied with musicians like Mick Goodrick, Ben Monder, Brad Shepik, Ted Quinlan, Lorne Lofsky, David Occhipinti, Geoff Young, and Emile D'eon. There is no cover.
