CABARET TONIGHT IN NYC: OFFICIALLY ALIVE - JUSTIN DANIEL
Bistro Award Winner Justin Daniel makes his return to cabaret with his show 'Officially Alive' at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Mondays, April 21st & 28th at 7:00 pm. Officially Alive chronicles the often bizarre road towards gay fatherhood. After getting married and deciding to pursue parenthood through surrogacy, Justin delves into to countless awkward conversations, difficult choices, and the defining moments of life. All of this is told with an eclectic musical lens that brings together the music of David Bowie, John Mayer, Stephen Sondheim, and so many more. With multiple MAC award recipients Scott Coulter (Broadway By The Year) and Michael Holland (Godspell 2011 Revival) directing and music directing respectively, the show promises to be a musically adventurous, funny, and touchingly honest account of what it means to be "officially" alive in the 21st century. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
