MARCH IS CABARET MONTH EVENT
MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets)will present its first educational seminar of 2014 "Cabaret Beginnings - Creating Your Own Show" on Saturday, March 8th at 150 STUDIOS(150 West 46th Street - 7th floor) from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Hosted and moderated by Billie Roe the subject matter will be divided into three topics presented and discussed by three of the 'movers and shakers' in our NY cabaret community. The first of three topics "Creating your show" will be presented by multi-award winning MAC President, Lennie Watts; the second topic "Booking your show" will be presented by Duplex booking manager, and 2014 Bistro Award winner, Thomas Honeck; and the third topic "Promoting your show" will be presented by the multi-award winning, Terese Genecco, owner of Mulligan Productions, an entertainment company with divisions in Music, Media, Design, Stage, and Art. Admission is FREE to all current MAC members. Non-members can attend for $10. There will be a board member from MAC's membership committee should anyone want to renew or join MAC. There is limited seating, so you must RSVP your intent to attend to cabaroe@aol.com no later than Friday, March 7th.
