CABARET TONIGHT IN LONDON: DENISE BLACK - THE BIRTH OF THE MUSICIAL
Richard Douglas Productions presents Denise Black - The Birth Of The Musicial at THE PHEASANTRY (152-154 King's Road, London SW3 4UT - 08456 027 017) on Thursday, March 6th at 8:30 pm. A journey through the mad age between the wars - a homage to the songs and songwriters who made the early musicals designed and performed by Denise Black, Graeme Taylor and Paul Sand. Denise Black is a regular fixture of British television, perhaps best known for Coronation Street, Queer As Folk and Emmerdale. She started out as an alternative cabaret 'darling' at the beginning of Jongleurs and Malc Hardee's Tunnel Palladium and later with the Kray Sisters. She is bringing a brand new show to the Pheasantry. Call for cover/minimum information.
