Monday, March 10th, will mark the return of a tradition, Chasin' the Blues Away - A benefit for BROADWAY CARES/EQUITY FIGHTS AIDShonoring the legacy of Marianne Challis. Performance is at 7:00 pm at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788). "Chasin' the Blues Away" will feature her friends/students including Kevin Dozier, Laurie Krauz, Reagan Stone, Lisa Mullane Viggiano with musical direction by Daryl Kojak and direction by Scott Barnes. Marianne started this event a number of years ago and her friends have chosen to honor her life by continuing the tradition -- and by continuing her efforts to help fund the great work being accomplished by this wonderful organization. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
