MIDTOWN JAZZ AT MIDDAY continues at ST. PETER'S CHURCH - SANCTUARY (619 Lexington Avenue, NYC - 212-935-2200 - ) every Wednesday. Midday Jazz Midtown is an ongoing jazz program for the midtown community. Concerts take place in the Sanctuary of Saint Peter's Church and are presented by Midtown Arts Common in cooperation with Saint Peter's Church. Ronny Whyte is the producer. The show on Wednesday, July 23rd features Mauricio de Souza and Bossa Brasil. Mauricio de Souza and Bossa Brasil celebrate the release of their new CD at Midday Jazz Midtown! Personnel: Mauricio de Souza, drums; Alan Chaubert, trumpet and piano; and Joonsam Lee, bass. Performances are at 1:00 pm, $10 donation.
