The Birthday Celebration continues for Vickie Phillips and Gerry Dieffenbach with two final shows this month in July at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788). With the internationally acclaimed songs of Jacques Brel, Kurt Weill, and Charles Aznavour, Vickie creates miniature portraits of the wonderful life we all share. Through the words and music of these masters, Vickie tells us of the journey she is still on, and her deepest personal dreams. This show captures the charm, the intimacy, the tragedy, and the magic of life's great odyssey. NYC: ALFONSO VILALLONGA AT THE CUTTING ROOM

Moscow 57 has announced the return of Barcelona-based performer and composer Alfonso Vilallonga to NYC for the USA release of his latest album, "Alphosphore Variations" at CUTTING ROOM (44 East 32nd Street, NYC - 212-691-1900) on Saturday, July 26th at 7:30 pm. Alfonso Vilallonga and Moscow 57 have a long history. M57 owner Ellen Kaye first met Alfonso at The Algonquin Hotel, when they were both performing on Steve Ross's radio show about 20 years ago. Ellen and Alfonso found a way to reconnect through Moscow 57's podcasts, the M57 On-Air Urban Salon, which can be heard at http://www.moscow57.com/radio.html . In Episode 6 of the M57 podcasts, Ellen interviews Alfonso and plays songs from his album 'Alphosphore Variations.' This was the first time the songs were heard in the United States. Alfonso Vilallonga is an internationally touring singer, songwriter, musician, composer and actor, born in Barcelona, Spain, to a musical family. He sings fluently in Spanish, Catalan, French, English and German. Vilallonga earned his Masters in composition and singing from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. His influences include but are not limited to Jacques Brel, Tom Waits, Nino Rota, Boris Vian, Kurt Weill, Freddie Mercury, Randy Newman, Edith Piaf, and Thelonious Monk. He lived in the US for 10 years, during which time he recorded two albums: 'At the Edge' and 'The End of an Era.' NYC: KELLY MANTLE MAKES HER NYC DEBUT

Controversial performer Kelly Mantle makes her New York debut with the premiere of DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I THINK I AM? at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Saturday, July 26th at 7:30 pm. The show is an inebriated evening of hilarious and sardonic stories mixed with live performances of original and twisted cover songs. Always blending fantasy and reality, Kelly will divulge stories about "RuPaul's Drag Race," her sordid affairs in pop culture, and her intoxicated delusions of grandeur. Other highlights include hilarious glimpses into her childhood and her relationship with Uncle Mickey Mantle of the New York Yankees and how she feels about the "T" in LGBT. Internet comedian and downtown darling Cole Escola has created an evening of sketches and characters for his new show 'THE FIRST GAY PRESIDENT GOES TO PARIS' to be premiered atTHE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE(61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Saturday, July 26th at 9:30 pm. Included in the show are "Tennessee Williams Baby," "The Goblin Commuter of Hoboken," "The First Gay President," and very much more. Every single one of Cole's shows sold out last fall. NYC: ERIKA SMITH WITH 'MARILYN AND FRIENDS'

Erika Smith brings her show 'Marilyn and Friends' to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, July 26th at 7:00 pm. The show is a fun hour romp through the mind of one of the world's most famous icons of our time, Marilyn Monroe. Internationally renowned Monroe tribute artist Erika Smith sings the classic songs Marilyn is known for, as well as a few unexpected tunes, interacts and improvises with the audience. She invites other beloved "celebrities" to duet and dance with her. There are some serious and heartfelt moments, but mostly this fun show celebrates and pays loving tribute to the sexiness and artistry of the incomparable Miss Marilyn Monroe. NYC: THE SKIVVIES RETURN TO 54 BELOW

The undie-rock, comedy-pop duo The Skivvies return to 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Saturday, July 26th at 11:00 pm. The Skivvies don't just strip down their musical arrangements, they literally strip down to their underwear to perform their distinctive mashups and eccentric originals for cello and ukulele, with touches of glockenspiel, melodica, and a surprising array of under-used instruments. Award-winning singer-actors Lauren Molina (Marry Me a Little, Sweeney Todd, Rock of Ages) and Nick Cearley (All Shook Up) became YouTube sensations as The Skivvies, with living room videos that displayed their powerful harmonies as well as their powerful abs.
