Eric Michael Gillett presents Bob O'Hare in Recovery: A Show About Getting Better at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Monday, November 11th at 6:30 pm; Sunday, November 17th at 6:30 pm; and Friday, November 22nd at 6:30 pm. He will be accompanied by the Tom Nelson Trio (Tom Nelson, Musical Director and Piano ; Tom Kirchmer, Bass: Peter Grant, Drums). Bob O'Hare made his cabaret debut in May of 2009 with "Home: A Musical Journey." Shortly after, Mr. O'Hare took a very serious fall after his first show, and is still in recovery today. His life was dominated by a long stay in a rehabilitation center and much physical therapy, but Robert O'Hare has willpower! As soon as he could, he began working with Eric Michael Gillett, his director, and the Tom Nelson Trio. The healing process continues, and so does the music! Eric and Bob have selected a glorious range of songs to tell Bob's fascinating, inspiring, sometimes humorous story of Recovery, by composers such as Leslie Bricusse, David Friedman, Jerry Herman, Henry Mancini, Anthony Newley, Paul Simon, Stephen Sondheim, and others. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. $15 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.
