CABARET TONIGHT IN NYC: IF I WERE A DRAG QUEEN, I WOULD BE FAMOUS

Celebrity illusionist Shannon Agnew will perform her show 'If I were A Drag Queen, I Would Be Famous' at
THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Sunday, November 17th at 9;30 pm. Buckle up for a rollicking night of "divas" bearing their claws! Shannon Agnew recreates the magic of iconic Broadway performers through dead-on impersonations, blends her original parody lyrics set to popular show tunes, and exquisitely sings classic Broadway hits as the divas who made them famous. Performing as legends - among them Judy Garland, Patti LuPone, Ethel Merman, Julie Andrews, Liza Minnelli, Idina Menzel, Bernadette Peters, Billie Holiday and Barbra Streisand - Agnew delivers a brilliant multimedia cabaret, earning rave reviews at the Philadelphia FringeArts festival, even though she is not a Drag Queen. There is a $10 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
