CABARET TONIGHT IN NYC: SHELLY MARKHAM RELEASES CD AT MAMA'S
Shelly Markham, widely known as Musical Director and accompanist for Andrea Marcovicci, will celebrate the release a CD of his original material, titled 'Things I've Learned Along the Way' (LML) at DON'T TELL MAMA(343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Wednesday, November 20th at 9:15 pm. The songs were written with a varied group of colleagues including Mark Winkler, Judith Viorst (with whom Shelly wrote the popular kids' musical, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day), Tom Toce, Adryan Russ, Lee Adams, and others. It includes the MAC Award winning song, "It's About Time," written with Paul Rolnick, who co-produced the disc. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
