Chicago Classical Singers present a humorous, revealing collection of stories and songs in their show 'Fish Out of Water: A Cabaret' atMARY'S ATTIC (5400 North Clark, Chicago, IL - 773-784-6969) on Sunday, November 17th at 2:00 pm. VOX 3 Collective's cabaret series has explored crazy themes from puberty to politics to medicine. This season, their members take a more personal approach, relating stories from their personal life alongside the madcap music. Blending classical with contemporary tunes, this show examines what it's like to be an outsider, a fish out of water. Poking fun at princesses, cliques, and other social norms, this show displays the company's lighter side while showcasing the multiple talents of its members. Performers include: Megan Cook, Meghan Guse, Ashlee Hardgrave, Brian Hoffman, baritones Michael Orlinsky, Brian von Rueden, and James Morehead; with Kelsey Harris and Elizabeth Rudolph. There is a $5 cover.
