NYC: PARISIENNE NATHALIE SCHMIDT WITH "FORGOTTEN LOVERS"

Parisian-based actor/singer/writer and director Nathalie Schmidt will star in her one-woman show, "Forgotten Lovers" at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, November 22nd at 1:00 pm with Jason Yeager on Piano. "Forgotten Lovers" is a comedic/tragic cabaret of a woman, Greta, falling apart at the seams the week before she is to be married. She recounts tales of her numerous ex-lovers and where it all went wrong up to this moment in story and song. Nathalie Schmidt is an acclaimed French actress, comedian, singer, writer and director based in Paris, France. She has worked throughout Europe and in the USA. She has performed in more than 25 plays and 30 films. She has written and directed seven shows for the theater, and four short films. There is a $22.50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: NASHVILLE CULTURAL EXCHANGE SHOW

THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) recently held a bi-city contest in pitting performers from NYC and performers from Nashville. On Saturday, November 22nd at 4:00 pm, three of the four winners from the NYC Contest: Sue Matsuki, Julie B. Simpson and Treacy Stark will host the Nashville Contest Winner, Evan Gibb in an hour celebrating Evan's NYC debut! The music will be a little bit of everything: Jazz, Blues, Pop, R&B and, or course, COUNTRY! There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
