NYC: LYNN HENDERSON RETURNS TO THE METROPOLITAN ROOM
Big band vocalist Lynn Henderson will return to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Thursday, November 20th at 7:00 pm to celebrate the release of her new CD, If We Only Have Love. The album traces milestones in life and is available on her website www.lynnhendersonsinger.com and on iTunes. Pianist and award winning song writer Douglas J. Cohen will share vocals with Henderson and they will be accompanied by Robert Sabin on bass and Sherrie Maricle on drums. Henderson has been performing for audiences in New York and Connecticut for the past several years. She will be singing selections from 'The Great American Songbook" that are fun, heartbreaking and thoughtful. There is a $22.50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

MAC Nominee & Bistro Award Winning Singer Anthony Santelmo Jr returns to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) with his show "Sleuthy Returns!" on Thursday, November 20th at 7:00 pm and Sunday, November 22nd at 4:00 pm. He is backed by the "Up Front Girls" and with Barry Levitt at the piano, Rob Thomas on Violin and John Burr on bass. Known for his long time "Seek Out The Tunes" series, which ran for many years in NYC, Anthony contines to present some of the most interesting and entertaining shows in town. Jazz vocalist Martha Lorin and NPR's Jon Weber will present 'A Celebration Of Harold Arlen' at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Wednesday, November 20th at 7:30 pm. Singer/ Lyricist/ Songwriter Martha Loren and Jon Weber, rising star of the NPR's Piano Jazz, will entertain with a program about jazz musicians and singers who performed Harold Arlen's music. Selections include: Ill Wind, Stormy Weather, Blues In The Night, That's A Fine Kind Of Freedom, Let's Fall In Love, Old Black Magic and more. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: BEN RIMALOWER DEBUTS NEW PLAY "BAD WITH MONEY"
Ben Rimalower debuts new play "Bad With Money" at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) running on Thursdays at 9:30 pm, September 4th through November 6th. Ben Rimalower's addiction to spending beyond his means has driven him to extreme lengths all his life. In BAD WITH MONEY he charts his sometimes hilarious, sometimes harrowing struggle to overcome his problem - or get rich trying. "Bad With Money" is written and performed by Ben Rimalower and directed by Aaron Mark. Rimalower's first solo show, the long-running hit Patti Issues, explored his obsession with Broadway diva Patti LuPone and his relationship with his troubled gay father. Bad with Money delves into even deeper personal territory with the story of his struggle with debt - a journey that takes him through drug addiction, prostitution, fraud and multiple betrayals. There is a $25-$50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
NYC: FLY UP! WITH JOSHUA DIXON
Joshua Dixon, after thrilling audiences in Scott Evan Davis' PICTURE PERFECT, returns to THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Thursday, November 20th at 7:00 pm in his solo cabaret debut, FLY UP! Featuring songs by Rogers & Hammerstein, Bastille, Andrew Lippa, & Stephen Sondheim and others, the show will explore his trials, tribulations, and triumphs of growing up Mormon, or in fact, simply growing up. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

Charles Baran, a rising actor and performer, will bring his show to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Thursday, November 20th at 9:30 pm. In 2013, Charles left a successful career in Design Management to become a full time actor. His career thus far has been marked with many successes in many prestigious roles, among which have been Larry Foreman in The Cradle Will Rock at Theater 80 St. Marks in NYC, Geoffrey in the new comedy Geoffrey and Jeffrey in the Thespis Festival at Cabrini Rep in NYC, (nominated for 2013 Best Actor Award), a featured role in Harold Rome's Pins and Needles at Theatre 80 St. Marks and LaMama in NYC, The Kingdom at Mabou Mines, Walkabout Yeolha at Columbia Stages, Clyde Tolson in The File on J. Edgar Hoover in the 2013 Fresh Fruit Festival, Emmet Watson in Juan and Emmet and his favorite role to date Burke Kendall in 2013's revival of Stand Up Tragedy. On February 14, 2014 Charles debuted his first club act - Charles Baran's Saint Valentine's Day Massacred! - at Sophie's on West 53rd Street, NYC. His film credits include A Foreign Heart of Hope and the independent short Perspective. His upcoming projects include Horace Vandergelder in Hello Dolly at the Interlakes Theater in Meredith, New Hampshire, Artie in the new play The Home, and Sam Male in the webseries Watercooler Madness.
