HOTLINE MEMBER CABARET EVENT TONIGHT IN NYC: CAROLYN MONTGOMERY-FORANT: VISIBLE PHOENIX
MAC, Back Stage Bistro and Nightlife Award winning singer, songwriter and recording artist Carolyn Montgomery-Forant, returns to the New York City stage in her first solo show in eight years! Her show 'Visible Phoenix' will be presented at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Friday, November 21st, & Monday, December 22nd*, 2014 and again on Fridays, March 8th, April 10th and May 8th, 2015 - all shows at 7:00 pm. *The December 22, 2014 at 7:00 is a special holiday performance, with guests. Musical direction is by Donald Rebic (Leslie Uggams, Karen Akers), and the show features a five-piece band and Carolyn's trio of back-up singers, The Fine Whine. Directed by Eric Michael Gillett, this comeback tour de force incorporates music from a wide range of genres and eras, original comedy, and a few songs with music and lyrics by Montgomery-Forant herself.
