CHICAGO: ELISE LABARGE SINGS CROSSING THE OCEAN WITH KURT WEILL
Elise LaBarge brings her show 'Crossing the Ocean with Kurt Weill' to UNCOMMON GROUND ON DEVON (1401 West Devon, Chicago IL - 773-465-9801 - ) on Sunday, November 16th at 7:00 pm. With Kurt Weill's career as her guide, Elise LaBarge steps through the bawdy Weimar Republic of the 1920s, the romantic, frivolous Paris of the 30s, and the stylish, swinging New York of the 30s and 40s in this cabaret concert. Stephen Hargreaves joins on the piano, with Rebecca Richey on violin. There is a $15 cover.
