NYC: JENNIFER ROBERTS RETURNS FOR 2 SHOWS AT MAMA'S

After successful shows at Judy's Chelsea and Don't Tell Mama, Jennifer Roberts is back with "An Evening With Jennifer Roberts" to celebrate her love for Manhattan with two new shows at New York hotspot DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - ) on Wednesday, November 19th and Sunday, November 30th - both shows at 7:00 pm. Musical director Tedd Firth will join Jennifer along with returning bass player Ritt Henn. Directed by Andy Gale with technical direction by Jason Ellis, "An Evening With Jennifer Roberts" features Firth's spectacular arrangements of songs from composers Leonard Bernstein and Kurt Weill to Cy Coleman, Sheldon Harnick, Duke Ellington and Dave Frishberg. Jennifer, whose regional credits include Sarah Brown opposite Broadway leading man Tom Wopat in Guys and Dolls, serves up an entertaining, exhilarating, jazz-infused show that highlights her wide vocal range. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: CHRIS BARRETT AT THE PIANO ON RESTAURANT ROW 

Chris Barrett performs at LA RIVISTA RISTORANTE (313 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-366-4603) where he is at the piano Mondays through Wednesdays in an open-ended run. There are two shows nightly, a dinner show at 8:00 and a supper show at 10:00 pm. Chris Barrett's performances are in the tradition of the great late-night boites of a fondly remembered era, when the likes of Hugh Shannon, Bobby Short, and Buddy Barnes manned the keyboard. There is no cover charge

NYC: LENALENALENA AT THE DUPLEX

Lena Moy-Borgen and Katy Pfaffl will present 'LenaLenaLena' at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE(61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438 - ) on Wednesday, November 19th at 7:00 pm to bring you the story of a Chinese Jew from Oakland, California with the soul of a chorus girl crossed with Mel Brooks' sense of humor. Expect show tunes, stories and lots of fun. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: WILL PARKER: I REMEMBER YOU, A TRIBUTE TO NAT KING COLE

Will Parker brings his show 'I Remember You, A Tribute To Nat King Cole' to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ) on Wednesday, November 19th at 9:30 pm. Musical Director is Lafayette Harris with Will Terrill on Drums and Chris Haney on Bass. Knowing already in the third grade that he wanted to entertain, Will dedicated himself to his craft. After starring in several productions in high school he continued to hone his skills by studying Theatre and Communications on the collegiate level. It was at Salem College, that this budding talent was recognized when Will was selected as Best Student Director. His collage of work by black poets weaved a delicate balance of music,dance,and eloquent verse. He and his cast of 12 were asked to take the production on the road but Will was about to earn his degree and allow his star to shine in New York City. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: 3 MEN AND A BABY... GRAND! AT THE MET

Lee Lessack, John Boswell and Brian Lane Green bring their show '3 Men and a Baby... Grand!' to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Monday through Wednesday, November 17th through 19th at 7:00 pm.This versatile group has created several themed shows singing tributes to Broadway, Sinatra, Mercer, the fabulous 50s and 60s and just about every era in between. Their harmonies are incredible and individually each one brings star-power to the stage. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: CHRISTINE ANDREAS: LOVE IS GOOD

After a triumphant run last fall, Christine Andreas returns to 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551 - ) with a brand new evening of song. Performances are scheduled for Tuesday & Wednesday, November 18th & 19th and Friday & Saturday, November 21st & 22nd - all shows at 7:00 pm. 'Love Is Good' is Christine's most personal show. Together with her husband, award-winning composer Martin Silvestri, Christine has fashioned a warm, witty, and beautiful evening of music drawn from the American songbook and Broadway. The program will also include some very personal original songs, performed with an energy that can only evolve with the intimacy of a 22-year-old musical relationship! Originally conceived for a command performance at the White House in the intimate setting of the presidential living room, Christine and Martin have created a sophisticated, romantic evening crafted to show the power of brilliant lyrics set to unforgettable melodies from Rodgers & Hart, Lerner & Loewe, Gershwin, Piaf, and a few surprises that promise to lighten your spirit and make your heart sing! There is a $35-$70 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: BENJAMIN SCHEUER & THE ESCAPIST PAPERS

Fresh from his one-man show The Lion at the Manhattan Theatre Club, and a UK tour with Mary Chapin Carpenter, songwriter Benjamin Scheuer will perform at 54 BELOW(254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551 - ) on Wednesday, November 19th at 9:30 pm. This will be his 54 Below Debut. He'll be performing with his band, Escapist Papers, comprised of bass-player/synthesist Geoff Kraly, and drummer Josh Dion. It promises to be an incredible evening of acoustic, intimate music at 54 Below. There is a $25-$55 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: SINGER/SONGWRITER SHAINA TAUB AT JOE'S PUB

After a year of traveling and performing all over the country, singer/songwriter Shaina Taub - winner of the 2014 Jonathan Larson Grant - returns home to New York to present an evening of her original songs with her band, on Wednesday November 19th at 7:00 pm at JOE'S PUB at THE PUBLIC THEATRE(425 Lafayette Street, NYC - 212-967-7555 - ). Shaina will be joined by her bandmates bassist/singer Mike Brun (Mr. Burns, Old Hats) and drummer/singer Jacob Colin Cohen (One Man, Two Guv'nors; Old Hats), pianist David Farrell Melton and singer Grace McLean (Bedbugs!!!), Catherine Brookman (Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812) and Starr Busby will make special guest appearances. The set list will features selections from Old Hats, There's A House, Robin, songs from Taub's two EPs, and many brand new songs as well. There is a $14 cover. 

NYC: JOHN PIZZARELLI & JESSICA MOLASKEY AT THE CAFE

The acclaimed husband-wife jazz duo of John Pizzarelli & Jessica Molaskey return to THE CAFE CARLYLE (35 East 76th Street, NYC - 212-744-1600) for a 4-week run on Tuesday, October 28th through Saturday, November 22nd at 8:45 pm, with a late show on Saturdays at 10:45 pm. Their new show is called 'Grown Up Songs' and features songs by Stephen Sondheim, Johnny Mercer, Paul McCartney, Alan Jay Lerner, Adam Guettel, Billy Joel and more. They will be joined by a band including Kevin Kanner on drums, Martin Pizzarelli on double bass and Konrad Paszkudzki on piano. As always, John Pizzarelli will play guitar. There is a $55-$185 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.
