The Lampshades will entertain you at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551 - ) on Wednesday, September 25th at 7:00 pm. Kate Flannery, aka Meredith from The Office, and Scot Robinson, from the silver screen's Anchorman, are The Lampshades: America's favorite dying lounge act! "Kassie," (Flannery) along with "Hori" (Robinson), work the scotch-soaked, mascara-running piano medley to fine, sleazy effect. No matter how many bands you've seen, you have never heard "Mandy" meets "Brandy" combined with the theme song from The Andy Griffith Show and "Candy Man" thrown in for bad measure.
