CABARET TONIGHT IN NYC: HOT HOUSE NYC JAZZ AWARDS NIGHT AT THE METROPOLITAN ROOM
HOT HOUSE (the first publication dedicated to jazz in New York City) celebrates its 31st anniversary! The Metropolitan Room is celebrating its 8th anniversary! Together, they're celebrating the reason why we exist - the Jazz Artists - on Monday, September 23rd starting at 6:00 pm (doors open at 5:30 pm) at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440). Since its creation in 1982, Hot House has put together 372 issues and helped promote over 9,000 artists. The oldest jazz magazine in New York, Hot House is the only publication in the New York metro area devoted solely to previews of upcoming jazz events. Month after month, year after year since 1982, Hot House has offered insight and enthusiasm to both longtime jazz fans and newcomers to the scene reaching its goal to inform each readers, help promote events and bring audience to the performances.
