OUTDOOR CABARET WEDNESDAY NYC: CONCERTS FOR CITY GREENS CONTINUES JUNE 27TH PERFORMANCE (must see! no cover! no minimum!)
The 6th Season of The Concerts for City Greens, free outdoor concert series, continues on Wednesday, June 26th at 6:30 pm (Rain date: Thursday, June 27th at 6:30 pm.) at TUDOR CITY GREENS OARK (enter at Tudor City Place between East 42nd and East 43rd Streets) with "Summer Sambas, Showmen & Sirens ," and will feature professional performers from Broadway and the New York City cabaret, jazz, and classical scene. All performers donate their time and talent to benefit MUSIC AND ART FOR GREEN. The concert will be hosted by Tudor City resident, Broadway and cabaret veteran Raissa Katona Bennett. This concert will feature TV, Broadway & Off Broadway Veteran Ilene Kristen, and MAC, Bistro & Nightlife Award Winner Mark Nadler. MAC Nominated Recording Artist, Annie Kozuch and Bistro Award Winner, Parker Scott complete this exciting evening of entertainment. Host Raissa Katona Bennett welcomes back series regulars Terese Genecco as sidekick & drummer, Sean Harkness on guitar, Matt Scharfglass on bass, and Musical Director, Bill Zeffiro, and introduces violinist Nicholas Perry. Additional musical direction will be provided by pianist Mark Janas.
