TONIGHT NYC: UPTOWN EXPRESS' NEW SHOW 'I'VE GOT A FEELING' AT THE BEECHMAN
Uptown Express, the Bistro Award-winning and seven-time MAC Award-nominated male vocal pop quintet, returns to THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Wednesday & Thursday, June 26th & 27th at 7:00 pm. Their new show 'I've Got a Feeling' will kick off a season of sun and fun with a set of vibrant songs that capture the upbeat feeling of summer in the city, featuring hits from the last five decades of popular music, classic songs by artists like The Association, Manhattan Transfer, and The Four Aces, to new classics by such artists as John Legend and the Black Eyed Peas. Their jam-packed repertoire of memorable tunes, jazzy arrangements, and several surprises, guarantees that the night is going to be a good night. Uptown Express features Christopher Caswell, Larry Gabbard, Chad Hudson, Brad Parks and Doug Williford. The group is backed by The James Followell Trio, featuring Dan Gross on drums, Sean Conly on bass and guitar, and Musical Director James Followell at the piano. There is a $20 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
