TONIGHT NYC: TIM CHERNIKOFF AT THE METROPOLITAN ROOM
Jazz pianist and composer Tim Chernikof will perform at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Thursday, June 27th at 11:30 pm. Tim has shared the stage with such artists as Christian McBride, Adonis Rose, Taylor Eigsti and Dayna Stephens. Chernikof's music embraces the San Francisco bebop jazz style along with in?uences ranging from Radiohead and the RH Factor, to Chris Potter, Herbie Hancock and Terence Blanchard. These elements create moments of surprising poignance and cathartic improvisation, framed within melodies and stylistic concepts that fuse swing, rock, funk, Afro-Cuban and R&B Styles. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
