La Tanya Hall presents an evening of tribute to the great ladies of jazz, including Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Wilson and Carmen McCrae at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ) on Sunday, June 23rd at 9:30 pm. This show promises to be an evening of unforgettable music sung by an unforgettable singer. Vocalist La Tanya Hall is poised to take her place as one of the foremost jazz vocalists in the world today. Her ability to reinvent the Great American Songbook is amassing glorious reviews from around the globe. Her versatility in a variety of musical genres has allowed her to collaborate with some of music's most celebrated artists, including Diana Ross, Bobby McFerrin, Harry Belafonte, Burt Bacharach, Quincy Jones, Aretha Franklin, Rob Thomas, and Patti Labelle. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
