NYC: NATALIE DOUGLAS WITH "SCRAPBOOK 2.0" AT BIRDLAND TONIGHT
Award winning vocalist Natalie Douglas brings her show 'Scrapbook 2.0' toBIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-581-3080) on Monday, June 24th at 7:00 pm. "Scrapbook 2.0" offers some of the fondest musical images of Natalie's life ... from the diverse tastes of her late parents to the music of her native Southern California, her ancestral East Texas roots and finally her adulthood in New York City. All guided by the inspiration of Judy, Nina, Ella, Carly, Mabel, Elton, Nancy, Abbey, The Eagles and many others. Natalie will be joined by her longtime musical director, Mark Hartman, and the Broadway All-Star Band. The show is a sequel to a show Natalie did called 'Scrapbook' at the long closed EIGHTY EIGHTS in Greenwich Village in 1998! Now a little older and a lot wiser about the family secrets (but still a dancing machine!), Natalie offers musical images of her entire life. There is a $30 cover plus a $10 food/drink minimum.
