NYC CABARET: JESSE LUTTRELL'S BAWDY RETURNS TO STAGE 72 TONGHT
Jesse Luttrell's wildly successful and ever-changing BAWDY continues at STAGE 72 - formerly THE TRIAD (158 West 72nd Street, NYC - 212-362-2590) with monthly performances on the last Saturday of every month. The next performance is on Saturday, June 29th at 9:30 pm. Special Guests: Justin Valentine, Didi Panache & Lady Winifred, and "So You Think You Can Drag" finalist Nomi Sas. The brainchild of trampy cabaret favorite Jesse Luttrell, BAWDY is headlined by Luttrell, and brings together cabaret, drag, and comedy performers of all classifications and orders in a celebration of adult variety paying homage to vaudeville, burlesque, and the hit television variety shows of the 50s and 60s. First conceived in 2009 as a benefit for Marriage Equality NEW YORK, BAWDY enjoyed sold-out runs at the same venue. This is the last show of this series. Bawdy! will return in the fall. The June 29th Show will also welcome Burlesque superstars Rosie Cheeks, Aurora Black, Sabra Soubrette and Grace Gotham and will also feature BAWDY dancers Vinny Celeiro, Eric Leiggi, Douglas Robbins, Xalvador Tin-Bradbury and BAWDY's own kazoo girl: Laura Oldham.
