Barb Jungr, one of Britain's best jazz cabaret singers, returns to THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Tuesday through Saturday, September 30th through October 4th at 8:00 pm. She arrives with new show, This Wheel's On Fire, a special selection of songs for Crazy Coqs. Extending the repertoire of her hugely acclaimed new CD, Hard Rain - the Songs of Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, she includes new material by Dylan, Cohen, Springsteen, Steely Dan and more in this passionate, philosophical and unmissable performance. With astute humour and glorious musical accompaniment courtesy of Simon Wallace. Barb Jungr has wowed audiences and critics worldwide with her powerful reinterpretations of Bob Dylan's work. Barb has built a formidable reputation as an international live performer and recording artiste. LONDON: BILLY STRITCH: "MY MUSICAL HEROES"

Barry Mishon presents Billy Stritch: "My Musical Heroes" at THE PHEASANTRY (152-154 King's Road, London SW3 4UT - 08456 027 017) on Thursday through Saturday, October 2nd through 4th at 8:30 pm. In this new show created for the Pheasantry, singer-pianist Billy Stritch pays tribute to the musical icons who have influenced his style. In addition to Mel Torme and Cy Coleman (the subjects of his last two shows), Billy will include songs by some giants he's been fortunate to meet - Jule Styne, Burton Lane, Stephen Sondheim and Antonio Carlos Jobim, among others. LONDON: THE CRAZY COQS LATE NIGHT JAZZ: JANET SEIDEL TRIO 

Smooth, sophisticated and stylish, the Janet Seidel Trio will perform at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Friday, October 3rd as part of the club's Late Night Jazz series. The trio have a uniquely warm and natural approach to sound. With a wealth of experience world wide, from recording studios (18 CDs released), live radio performances, concert halls, theatres, jazz clubs, festivals and private parties, Janet's captivating voice along with superb guitar and bass, wins over new audiences time and again. Reviewers have compared Janet favourably with iconic artists including Peggy Lee, Doris Day, Julie London and Blossom Dearie, accurately noting her influences. The trio uses the renowned Nat King Cole line up (piano/vocals, jazz guitar and double bass) and the extensive repertoire ranges from jazz standards, ballads, Latin, French chanson, through to the more quirky, depending on the setting.
