WASHINGTON, DC: "EASTERN STANDARD TIME" WITH TEDD BAKER & VICTOR PROVOST
"Eastern Standard Time" with Tedd Baker & Victor Provost will perform at BLUES ALLEY (1073 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington, DC - 202-337-4141) on Wednesday, October 1st with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. Tedd Baker began playing professionally in Boston as a teenager. He placed first in the 2000 Hilton Head Jazz Society Competition. In 2001 he was chosen for the US Department of State Jazz Ambassador Program, touring South America, Central America and Jamaica as a member of the Doron Richard Johnson Trio. In 2002 he joined the Airmen of Note, USAF Band, Washington, D.C. Tedd Baker's all-original 2006 debut CD "Mugshots" received rave reviews from JazzTimes, and All About Jazz. Victor Provost transcends the expectations of instrument and genre. With appearances at major venues throughout the world, he has been meticulously solidifying his reputation as a master of the steel pan instrument, crafting a unique voice and an improvisational style to be reckoned with.
