TORONTO: SHANNON BUTCHER & ROSS MACINTYRE
Vocalist Shannon Butcher and bassist Ross MacIntyre will perform at THE JAZZ BISTRO (251 Victoria Street, Toronto, ONT, CA - 416-363-5299) on Sunday, October 19th at 7:00 pm. Shannon & Ross have the kind of musical chemistry that can only be developed over years of friendship. Separately, Shannon has released three acclaimed solo albums and been listed amongst iTunes favourite new jazz vocalists, while Ross has won a Juno and toured the world supporting artists like Matt Dusk and Emilie-Claire Barlow. Together, whether they are covering jazz standards, bringing an intimate tone to 70s rock or giving a funk spin to country classics, Shannon and Ross have a style that makes them one of Toronto's favourite duos. Their debut duo album "How Sweet It Is" includes their interpretations of songs from James Taylor, Steve Miller and The Beatles. Call for cover/minimum information.
