CHICAGO: EDGES: A SONG CYCLE AT DAVENPORT'S
Davenport's alumni Samantha Hohenshil, Christopher Logan and Stephanie Souza Rasmann are joined by Taylor Okey on the Davenport's stage for a very special two-night engagement of Pasek and Paul's Edges: A Song Cycle at DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Monday, October 20th and Friday, October 24th, both shows at 8:00 pm. Edges is not a traditional musical; it is a contemporary song cycle about four burgeoning adults asking many classic coming-of-age questions. Confronting emotions, escaping expectations, and deciphering complicated relationships - the songs cover such universal issues as love, commitment, friendship, identity, meaning, and the future. Edges wants you to explore what happens when teetering on the edge. Director is Samantha Hohenshil, Musical Director is Christopher Logan. Accompanied by Ilana Atkins.
