HOTLINE MEMBER SHOW TONIGHT IN NYC: ANGELA SHULTZ PRESENTS "REALITY CHECK"
NYC cabaret artist Angela Shultz takes to the stage with her 2014 show "Reality Check" on Saturday, May 10th at 5:30 pm, at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788). There's a fine line between fantasy and reality. For many people, that line is thin and blurred. In Angela Shultz's new show, she explores both sides of that blurred line, and the people in serious need of a "REALITY CHECK"! Shultz uses an eclectic list of songs pulled from Broadway classics to newer hits by Joe Iconis and Jane Siberry to tell the stories of unrequited love, cat lovers, shark haters and more. MAC and Bistro Award winning songwriter Brett Kristofferson will serve as the show's musical director. Lennie Watts directs. Angela Shultz is the 2010 recipient of the Hanson Award from the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs, as well as a 2012 Nominee for Best Female Vocalist for her show, "Do Overs." She has appeared at BB Kings, The Duplex, Metropolitan Room, Laurie Beechman Theatre, Gotham Comedy Club and many more New York City venues. Angela also directed Hector Coris' 2010 MAC Award-winning performance in Life is Wonderful. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
