NYC: MIKE SCHUIL: TIME IN A BOTTLE

Singer/ songwriter Mike Schuil takes his new show 'Time in a Bottle' to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, May 10th at 7:00 pm. The 60s and 70s saw the rise of the singer/songwriter, musicians like Bob Dylan, Jimmy Webb, Jim Croce, Cat Stevens, Paul Simon and others. In his new show Schuil revisits and re-imagines the work of these iconic writers in a highly personal show, enhanced by the stunning arrangements of Music Director, Wells Hanley and the beautiful cello of Noah Hoffield, and the direction of Bistro Award winner Gerry Geddes. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: ANGELA SHULTZ PRESENTS "REALITY CHECK"

NYC cabaret artist Angela Shultz takes to the stage with her 2014 show "Reality Check" on Saturdays, April 26 and May 10, both shows at 5:30pm, at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788). There's a fine line between fantasy and reality. For many people, that line is thin and blurred. In Angela Shultz's new show, she explores both sides of that blurred line, and the people in serious need of a "REALITY CHECK"! Shultz uses an eclectic list of songs pulled from Broadway classics to newer hits by Joe Iconis and Jane Siberry to tell the stories of unrequited love, cat lovers, shark haters and more. MAC and Bistro Award winning songwriter Brett Kristofferson will serve as the show's musical director. Lennie Watts directs. Angela Shultz is the 2010 recipient of the Hanson Award from the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs, as well as a 2012 Nominee for Best Female Vocalist for her show, "Do Overs." She has appeared at BB Kings, The Duplex, Metropolitan Room, Laurie Beechman Theatre, Gotham Comedy Club and many more New York City venues. Angela also directed Hector Coris' 2010 MAC Award-winning performance in Life is Wonderful. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: STEVE D'AGOSTINO - SONGS FROM GREAT AMERICAN SONGBOOK

Steve D'Agostino will perform songs from the "Great American Songbook" at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, May 10th at 9:30 pm. His journey to a commitment of "expression" through the music and lyrics made popular in the United States and around the world by vocalist such as Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, Elvis Presley, and Johnny Cash took root over 30 years ago. Today, Steve's 30 plus years of experience are evident with every performance as he tenderly delivers melodies on ballads or relaxes the placement of a lyric on any "medium" to "up-tempo" swing tune. This vocal artistry has taken Steve from "coast to coast" and through the dedication of he and his live band, Steve has become "the standard" of this genre of music on the local scene. NYC: JUDY AND LIZA TOGETHER AGAIN AT MAMA' S

Cabaret favorites Tommy Femia and Rick Skye have teamed up for another evening of "Judy and Liza Together Again" at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Saturdays, May 10th & 24th at 8:00 pm. They are joined by Ricky Ritzel (as Mort) at the piano. These MAC Award winning performers (Best Impersonation) will pull out all the stops, singing classic solo's, parodies, duets and just plain whooping and hollering by the greatest mother/ daughter team in show biz history. Tommy Femia is a 7 time winner of the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC) Award for his brilliant portrayal of Judy Garland in "Judy Garland LIVE!", now in it's 20th season at Don't Tell Mama. He has also starred in "Whoop-de-doo", "I Will Come Back" and, most recently, "Norma Does Men". Rick Skye is best known for writing a string of outrageous comic revues including "The Flip Side of Neil Sedaka", "MaCabaret - a tabloid fable", "The War of the Mama Roses", "It's Madame with an E" and the International hit - "A Slice O' Minnelli" for which has enjoyed successful season's in Covent Garden, at the Apollo Theatre in London's West End and at the Dublin Theatre Festival where he received the Award for "Best Achievement in Performance". NYC: NEW YORK'S BIGGEST LITTLE VAUDEVILLE AT STAGE 72

Jesse Luttrell's wildly successful BAWDY runs each month at STAGE 72(158 West 72nd Street, NYC - 212-362-2590), and brings together cabaret, drag, and comedy performers of all classifications and orders in a tasteful celebration of adult variety paying homage to vaudeville, burlesque, and the hit television variety shows of the 50's and 60's. With her sweet Southern demeanor, evening gloves and enchanting stage presence, drag star Candy Samples always making her audience feel right at home. Now the songwriting chanteuse brings a new installment of her song-filled show, Candy on the Keys, to The Duplex Cabaret Theatre. Hear Candy belt her signature classics -- including "Green Bean Casserole," "If I Had Only Left (Two Shots Earlier)" and "Tap Tap," inspired by the Larry Craig sex scandal -- along with her latest single, "Queen of the Bears," which has quickly gotten notice, reaching coverage in Bear World Magazine and beyond. NYC: THE SCREW YOU REVUE AT THE DUPLEX

Join Lady Winifred (Dewey Chaffee) and her best gal pal Miss Didi Panache (Douglas Edwards) with their unique brand of Vegas inspired, over-the-top, raunchy, improvised comedy at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Saturday, May 10th at 9:30 pm. The duo challenges the threshold of each audience by proving that absolutely no subject is taboo. Douglas and Dewey are a married couple. They've been together nearly a decade. NYC: JINKX MONSOON: THE INEVITABLE CONCERT

After touring the world with The Vaudevillians, RuPaul's Drag Race favorite Jinkx Monsoon makes her much anticipated return to New York and THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) with JINKX MONSOON: THE INEVITABLE CONCERT. Monsoon will appear live with her band, premiering an evening of songs from her upcoming CD, The Inevitable Album. The CD will be released the week of the show and will available to buy at the theatre. Performances are on Thursday through Sunday, May 8th through 11th at 7:00 pm. Jinkx Monsoon is the alter ego of Jerick Hoffer, who graduated with a degree in theatrical performance from Cornish College in Seattle. With ten years experience on stage, Hoffer is a seasoned Portland-born entertainer who has captured the attention of his native northwest region. As early as 2006, Hoffer appeared as the lead dancer in the world's largest drag queen chorus line, which made the Guinness Book of World Records. By 2012, he had advanced to roles in Seattle theaters, playing Moritz in "Spring Awakening" (produced by Balagan Theatre) and Angel in "Rent" (produced by The 5th Avenue Theatre). In 2013, Hoffer played Hedwig in "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" (produced by Balagan Theatre and Seattle Theatre Group) and began an international tour of The Vaudevillians, an acclaimed performace piece co-created with Major Scales. NYC: MARILYN MAYE REMEMBERS THE CARSON YEARS

The multi-talented Marilyn Maye appeared on Johnny Carson's The Tonight Show a record 76 times, more than any singer. Her newest show at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) presented on Tuesday & Wednesday, May 6th & 7th at 7:00 pm and Friday & Saturday, May 9th and 10th at 8:00 pm - plus an encore performance on Tuesday, May 13th at 7:00 pm will be both a musical salute and a compilation of many of the songs Marilyn performed on The Tonight Show. NYC: CAST OF A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE & MURDER AND SKY-PONY

For one night only, the ladies and gentleman of Broadway's A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder will join fellow castmate Lauren Worsham and her pop-art band Sky-Pony at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) for a night of mashups and crossovers. Worsham - Phoebe from A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder - introduces her Edwardian castmates to the wonderful world of indie-rock on Saturday, May 10th at 11:00 pm. Sky-Pony focuses its songs on the darker side of humanity, so the folks from GGLAM should have no trouble fitting in. Special guests abound and minds will be blown. NYC: STEVE TYRELL AT THE CAFE CARLYLE

NYC cabaret favorite Steve Tyrell will perform at THE CAFE CARLYLE (35 East 76th Street, NYC - 212-744-1600) on Tuesdays through Saturdays, May 6th through 17th at 8:45 pm, with an added late show on Saturdays at 10:45 pm. (No show on Friday, May 9th). The Grammy Award-winning vocalist is truly a renaissance man. In his almost 5 decades in the music business, he has achieved great success as an artist, producer, songwriter, music supervisor, and performer. His hits "The Way You Look Tonight," "The Simple Life," "Crush On You" and "The Sunny Side of The Street," have launched thousands of weddings and millions of romances. He's held top positions at Standards, Swing, and Big Band outlets with a devoted following at key Adult Contemporary Radio. He has appeared with The Boston Pops, twice with The New York Pops, The Nashville Symphony, and The Houston Symphony on several occasions.
